The lady that came out assessed the problem, ordered the part and set the repair date, part came and the repairman came and fixed it. I'm sorry but I'm not good with names but he was a very nice Jamaican man. Both of the repair people were very nice and informed me of the problem, knew what they were doing. I guess I miss the old days where the first repairman would have had the part in the truck and I would not have been without my dishwasher for an extra week. Modern times are sometimes very inconvenient, but I would still stay with Sears.

Guy that came was very nice. However the rate was ridiculous. $150 to put a belt on is just crazy. I have had the same thing done by another company and it was $75.00. I feel ripped off and will never use or recommend Sears again.

Problem with icemaker not resolved. Technican seemed more interested in selling me a home appliance warranty than listening to me about my actual problem. Having to have them back today...hopefully this tech will resolve my problem

We thought calling Sears was a good idea because they are national but we were disappointed. We have a pretty up to date refrigerator but had to wait 10 days for parts to be delivered to our house and they came from a city just 20 miles south of where we live. I also forgot to give the service tech my 20% discount coupon and when I called the service center (which is not in the US) just minutes after he left, I got no help from them and was told I'd have to take it up with the tech when they return. I did and they eventually did give me the discount after they saw how irked I was getting the run around. I have yet to see my account credited and it's been 10 days. Also, they used my dish towel to soak up water on my kitchen floor and I thought that was ridiculous, left the broken part on my front porch and basically didn't clean up. Will not us them again.

Scheduled service for between 10 and 2. Was called at 4 to say repairman was on his way. Arrived at 5 and spent a few hours before telling me he couldn't repair my dishwasher. Waited another week before the next scheduled visit. Requested first thing in the morning and was told arrival was 1015 at the latest. Repairmen arrived at 1115. Dishwasher repaired.

A Sears repairman was hrre to repair my fridge : icemaker wasn't dispensing ice at all. That was on December 20. In the morning of Saturday December 23, i realized the ice cube collector was empty. I The tech himself was okay, but apparently the work wasn't done properly, or that "new" icemaker that he installed did do any good on top of that, Sears sent me an email to let me know they planned to charge $89.00 for a diagnostic service. I called them back to reschedule a new appointment for the previously done work, and they needed to waive thar diagnostic fee. Thar 1st visir cost me nearly $300.00.😠Keeping my fingers crossed. Hopefully this time they will get it right that 2nd time around. 😲ðŸ˜ðŸ˜

Technician was excellent. Most call center people were kind of help, but pleasant. Sears rescheduled appointment five times and would say appointment was from 8am -5pm. This is unacceptable. Your time is no more valuable then mine!!
