Be very careful most of the five star reviews are AI reviews. If you want to know the true story this company over schedules their technicians every day which means you take off work and wait all day for their technician and then you will get a text message that they’re not gonna be able to make it today. Their apologies and they reset for another day.

Sears home warranty is the worst I've had experience with. Waited 3 weeks to send a technician, then he calls out and have no one else to send. When he does come to install a part, dryer is still broken and won't send another technician for the tkme being, but will charge monthly.... This service sucks, buy from someone else...

A/C system needs replacement per 2 techs. (Outside company — One Hour A/C & Heating and Sears Techs). Been out of service since Sept. Tech says his Mgr will not recommend replacement. The Carrier is old and parts will no longer be available according to Tech. His mgr. told him that this model will no longer work on these A/C systems. Right now, it needs compressor, refrigerant removed and motor to provide adequate air flow. He also recommended calling for Maintenance Service. 12/9/24 at 10:30am

The service technician, Efrain, was GREAT. Thats the only positive thing about my experience with Sears. I called for repair on the refrigerator. 4 parts were needed and would be delivered to our home. Scheduled service a week out. 3 boxes came & I received a text that appt was cancelled until the last part came in. 4 weeks later I call & can barely understand the call person due to their accent. I’m told the parts were replaced and the repair order closed. I explain I was still waiting on a part & that no work had been done. She asks me to open the boxes and read the part numbers to her to determine what part is missing. One box contained 2 parts, so all 4 parts were delivered and sitting for a month now. She schedules appt for next day. I never receive confirmation, I call the next morning & they say “there was no appt scheduled”. They scheduled again, I waited on the phone for confirmation of appt. They give a full day time period for service 8am-5pm. 4:45 & no call, so I call again & told, yes you have an appt but no service tech was assigned to your order so you’ll have to reschedule, AGAIN. This was Friday afternoon. I asked to speak to supervisor, was told they’ll call me back. I asked where the call center is located after every call was answered with an accent very hard to understand. I was told they are located in SE Asia. No call ever came. New appt made, wake up to a text, appt cancelled waiting on parts. Took 4 calls to finally get a person. Appt back on. Efrain returned and fixed the fridge. 6 weeks after initial call. Ridiculous! Communication and customer service is a negative 5 star. Will not use them again.

This service is BOGUS!!! I was told if purchase warranty I would pay 50% of repairs. Repair cost of a small refrigerator was $1,025. So 50% would’ve been $500. When I accepted to pay the $500. They then said, “They couldn’t find my warranty plan on the system so I have to pay the total cost w/o the 50% discount !” I am now required to pay $139 for their service call since I decline to pay the repair costs!! IT’s A SCAM!!!!!!

Called Sears for service on my kenmore refrigerator. Instead a & e appliance repair showed up. Despite me supplying you the model and serial # and pictures of the broken part he came with the wrong part. Despite this problem he spent 1.5 hours trying to make it work. He went online and had me purchase another part that was going to be delivered to my home. Tech said he'd return the next Friday to install part. He never showed. Looked up your website and he rescheduled for following Tuesday, no explanation as to why. Had a birthday surprise party set for my daughter that day at my house. Checked your website as to when tech would arrive, it said he had 3 other stops and would arrive at 3:09pm. He arrived at 1pm in the middle of the surprise bday party, needless to say I was very upset with him arriving early, arriving initially with wrong part, missing next appointment. He charged me over $343 on his initial visit and fixed nothing and took hours of my time. Never again. Needless to say I told him not to return and hired another company to repair the ice maker.
