Technician basically told me that the item I called for was, in fact, not working. Did not repair. Did order some parts for another problem, and told my housekeeper how to fix it when the parts came in. Will need to recall to have the repair done correctly.

don’t buy kenmore don’t buy from sears

My Kenmore elite refrigerator failed after 3 years but "not to worry" I have the Sears Service plan. (cost hundreds $$$) That was 2 weeks ago, I still haven't seen a repair man. Repair was assigned to RR Repair on June 2nd and repair was scheduled for June 9th. On the evening of the 8th they cancelled and rescheduled for Friday, the 12th but within the hour postponed to the 15th (Today.) Attempts to contact Sears resulted in being on hold for 1 hour, transferred to the "expedite team" for another 1 hour. 'Finally answered but had no information, put me on hold again for a very long time before I finally hung up. We love this Kenmore when it's working but it isn't worth it.

It took them FIVE WEEKS to get my lawn tractor fixed. The Technician, Archie, is great but five weeks is too long to be without a lawn tractor on a one acre property in Florida. And it is not the first time it took them this long. Evidently Sears does not hire enough technicians for the amount of territory they have to cover.

It took over 2 weeks to repair our A/C after being told the part would be shipped overnight for 2 different times. we were able to order the part ourselves and have it delivered, but not Sears? Numerous attempts to speak to a person that could actually help us, lead to daily hours of being on hold, disconnected, sent to wrong departments, no response from the tech (Abe) and usually to a call center in India where you could tell a script was being used. Kevin from dispatch refused to call me back as did the "expedited team". We live in Florida where the temperatures were over 90 degrees and my husband has a lung disease. We had to buy a room A/C to survive and was told that we would be reimbursed but have of yet not seen anything. Sears used to have the best reputation for repair-not now.

It's hard to get an answer and/or appointment. I've tried several times and days to no avail. You're transferred to an automative system and nothing happens. So, you begin the process over. You need a lot of patience, I still haven't gotten an appointment but I will keep trying. By the way, Sears has no answer to the issue.
