The tech did a great job. My only issue was he realized that there was probably an issue with the seal on the ice maker and instead of requesting the part he said I would have to put in another service request which means I have to pay the deductible again. Didn't understand why it just couldn't be taken care of since he wasn't sure if it was part of the problem to begin with.

The part needed was unavailable and had to be ordered. Replacement part very expensive with only a 30 day guarantee. Also the Sears Service Warranty is higher than other warranty vendors. The monthly charge is higher than competitors.

The technician was great. My complaint however is that someone was supposed to come a few days ago. Saw a text that they came and I wasn't here. Not true. I was home all day with a dog who barks at everything and I check when he does. No one knocked on my door or called me. For that I give a low rating.

The service agent diagnosed that my hvac needed a new motor part. He then said they would order the part and it would take 5-7 business days. Now I had already been without heat for a week waiting on this appointment, but what could I do but wait a little longer for the part to come in? I waited 7 days and nothing! No updates, no anything. At this point I call my warranty company to find out what’s going on, only to find out that sears said they couldn’t service my type of hvac system! Why was I not told this from the beginning instead of LYING and saying they were ordering the part!

The tech Jason was friendly and honest. However, the Sears pricing for labor and parts ended up being twice the cost as local home appliance repair company for GE dishwasher. Don't be fooled by the upfront low cost diagnostics fee they are way more expensive overall.
