Vincent was great, communicated well, showed up early in the morning and did the repair quick and efficient. That said, the stars are just for Vincent. I was very disappointed in the Sears Home Repair service on a whole. It took the them 4 months from my initial call and the day it finally got fixed.

They did finally get my dryer fixed after three visits and endless calls to their AI answering service which is one of the most frustrating experiences ever. You can NEVER get a person and so in the guy doesn’t show repeatedly, you are dealing with AI who can’t get you to a person. Frustrating!!!! I trust repair will work as one guy said a new part was needed and the next guy said no. Hopefully it works!

The service personal came in on time and conducted tests to identify the issue with the GE dryer. He noted that the motor needs to be replaced. The cost of replacing a motor was $780 as compared to the total dryer cost of $684. As I realized that it is classic ripoff, I paid the diagnostic fee of $159. I really don’t understand why Sears charge a motor that much as it actually cost less than $150 in the market. In my opinion, Sears exorbitant charges drove away their clients and ended up in their bankruptcy.

The cost of repair for the amount of time spent was exorbitant. After the repair I said the door on the dryer wasn't closing smoothly now. the repair man said it was due to age. It was not closing that way before the repair. He didn't seem to want to take any extra time other than to repair the belt

It’s a total bullshit one of their technicians came to our house to repair the fridge which we paid $700 for and it was still not working properly so we called them again because we have 30 day warranty they keep rescheduling the appointment for a whole week and never showed up that is ridiculous to pay that much amount of money and still beg those people to come again as I said BULLSHIT

I have been a customer of Sears Home Appliance Repair in the past. I have never had an issue. However, last week I had an appointment to get my washing machine fixed by having the pump that was ordered replaced based on their recommendation. The pump was delivered to me on Monday, 5/11, however, the service appointment listed it as ordered NOT delivered. I called the number numerous times and told the virtual assistant that the part was delivered and that my appointment could proceed for that day. (It is impossible to get a hold of an actual person!) I received a confirmation. Then that morning at around 7:00am, I received an email saying my appointment needed to be rescheduled because the part never arrived. I called again, speaking to another virtual assistant and told them that I had the part and to reschedule the appointment for today- as planned, in which they did. I received an email confirmation. After taking time off from work to be here, no one arrived. Called multiple times and the delivery time of the technician kept being delayed. I did not receive one text, call or email with timing updates. No one showed up and I ended up canceling my appointment at 5:00pm. This is unacceptable. This is also after two weeks before, I had an appointment to find out what was wrong with my washing machine initially, and the first technician never notified me they were on the way, and even though I was home, no one rang my door bell or knocked on my door, and then proceeded to say I was not home. I received a text saying "sorry we missed you." I called the Sears Appliance Repair number back instantly and made another appointment for that day via virtual assistant. Then, that technician came said he could not service my appliance because it was a stackable and two technicians should be present. NO WHERE when making my appointment did it ask that. I wasted an entire day for nothing. He did not run any tests. He did not even try. I made another appointment, still hoping Sears would be able to help me. A week later, when I rescheduled my appointment based on my schedule, a technician came BY HIMSELF and was able to diagnose the problem quickly. He ordered the part and as mentioned before and the pump was delivered. I am incredibly disappointed with how the service was handled by two technicians and how customer service is being handled too. It is impossible to get ahold of anyone and the virtual assistances clearly do not understand. It is very frustrating. It is obvious that they do not take customer service seriously. After almost two weeks of not having a working washing machine, I will be taking my business elsewhere.
