(Translated by Google) The service was complete, but the technician never arrived at my house. (Original) El servicio estaba completo, nunca llegó el technician a mi casa
Trevor N,
The technician was great, but your customer service I was disappointed my appointment was originally 9-14-23 and I waisted a whole day waiting for your technician and no one ever showed up or called I chatted with your Sears office online and they promised me someone would call me but I never received a call from anyone ( live body). Then suddenly I got an email saying the appointment was rescheduled for today 9-28-23. It would have been nice to talk with a live body and explain to me why no one showed up on my original appointment 9-14-23. My tome is valuable but I guess you (Sears) don't care.☹️
nadine P,
They left without fixing dishwasher. They said it was fixed and didn’t really check. I tried it when they left and it doesn’t work, never fixed and paid $200.
Jeanne W,
The link says Sears but it’s A & E Factory Service that I booked this with. It took me two months to get a repair. You can’t talk to anyone. They say call, you call and it says go online, you go online and they say contact the manufacturer if it’s under warranty. So you call the manufacturer and wait forever then you get disconnected. I spent HOURS and hours on the phone trying to get this scheduled and again, there is no human at A&E to talk to. They no-showed me after I waited all day. A robocall after the arrival window (8-5) said they would arrive by 7:30 pm … then they no-showed me. Two weeks later a guy shows up who was OK and did the repair. Finally. But he didn’t take the HUGE old/broken dryer drum that is now on my front porch. Do NOT use A & E or Sears for that matter if they are operating as Sears.
Liz G,
This company does not know how to keep appointments. They canceled on us 3 different times the day of the appointment. Trying to talk to a real person is very difficult. I was taught a trick by someone on how to talk to a human. Spoke with 13 different people and either they could not help or flat out lied. Service techs are nice but they could not figure out the issue we had with our furnace. I did file a report with BBC. We went just over a month with no AC.
Don T,
I've been without a working HVAC system for over a month waiting on the repair. They reschedule the appointment to the following week a few hours into the day they are supposed to arrive every time. They are booked though home warranty companies so I get the feeling they really don't care about keeping appointments because the warranty companies will keep throwing them work.
Ryan R,
Critical: Punctuality, Responsiveness, and Value This company does not know how to keep appointments. Another bad experience with Sear repair- I had one tech come out on time and I thought the issue was fixed with my refrigerator. However in less than 2 weeks later the same problem is happening again. So I called for an appointment got the email for the service provider A&B appliance service appointment scheduled for 10/31/23 not only did them not show up they did not call. So I called them left several messages again no call back. So I called again to Sears repair and was told they would get back to me within 3 DAYS regarding my complaint and follow up on my appointment Sear repair is a joke- their service sucks, their providers used for repairs suck, no accountability from anyone to help get issue resolved. What happen Sears?? You use to be a good company responsive and reliable, but now you are a joke. The only reason why I keep trying to get the repairs done though Sears is because it is under warranty. I would not recommend their repair service to anyone.
Avis G,
The only good thing about our experience was the technician-very kind. However after having 7 appointments canceled without explanation, broken parts, and three very unhelpful phone calls with customer service, we eventually got a refund and took our business elsewhere..
naomi M,
Paid $65.00 for a warranty repair deductible on our dishwasher. Told the trap needed cleaning, and that was what was causing the unit not to heat and dry. Trap cleaning was determined to be a "maintenance" item and was not covered under warranty. Paid $50.00 to have the trap cleaned (it contained two half shells of pistachio, and a small sliver of glass). Two days later, when we tried the dishwasher for the first time since it was presumably repaired, it failed to heat and dry as it should. $115.00 in and we are now six weeks and counting to have the repair made.
David Y,
The repair gentleman showed up out of nowhere. The expected arrival went from 8 AM to 9 AM and then kept getting pushed back every hour to finally say arrival at 4pm, when someone showed up without notice or call ahead at 2 PM. Thankfully I was still home. They eventually left after almost 2 hours without notifying me that the job was completed. I checked the broken oven display they were replacing quickly and it was making a strange scratching noise when coming out of the oven, so I had to run out into the driveway to get them back inside before driving off. When they then looked at the display, not only was it installed crooked (which was easily visible), but they had apparently left a silica packet from the packaging behind the display inside the oven mechanics. They asked me for tweezers, pulled out the silica packet and said it’s fixed. Needless to say I am very unimpressed with Sears’ quality control and communication. This is the second time they have come by, and in an age of easy GPS updates, nobody has time to sit around their home from 8 AM to 5 PM, with no updates or notifications when the repair people will show up and then having them leave without a word with a job incomplete.
