The technician, Bernardo, was great. Bernardo is 5 star. Very friendly and helpful! However, I would not recommend the Sears Home Services Protection Plan. Their customer service is horrible.

The guy sent out to us was TOP NOTCH! He inspected our dryer. Not only gave me the options, but e.x.p.l.a.i.n.e.d. them in "idiot speak" to me. I was able to make a VERY informed decision at that point. Not saying your experience will be the same, but ours was great.

Bernardo was very knowledgeable and fixed the problem with my dishwasher. He arrived on time. I do have a complaint with Sears appliance repair. At 5:53 pm I received an email stating that the technician for my scheduled maintenance on my Kenmore dryer would be arriving in 15 minutes for a cost of $99. I never made this appt. Plus, I haven't had a Kenmore dryer for at least 2 yrs. I contacted Sears repair and they canceled the appt without any argument. I suspect this is a standard operating procedure for them trying to generate revenue by booking maintenance appt that the customer never made.
