I called Sears to address a d85 error code I was getting on my LG gas dryer. Code means there is an 85% blockage in the exhaust vent - essentially lint build up. Fire hazard! I expected tech to fix the problem but he said they don’t fix things like this and I could call a company like Coit to fix this issue. Honestly , I don’t think he wanted to fix it because my machines are in a very tight and small laundry room - two person job. I would have never scheduled this appointment if I knew this. Waste of time. Also, when the drum was spinning around it was making an odd noise. Tech replaced a couple of wheels and pulleys to address this issue. I had an appointment time of 8-12. Tech came at 11:37 am. Didn’t finish until 3:30 ish. He indicated it would only take an hour🤷♀️ $500+ later I’m still puzzled at what took so long. And, Sears prices are insanely high! Plus I still have to deal with the lint buildup issue:(

I was supposed to receive a phone call before the technician arrives so I can be home. Technician never called and never texted. Horrible communication skills!

How this company is rated so highly is a surprise to me. By far the worst customer service I have ever received. It is no wonder the store went out of business. No way to contact the store all just automated messages. No call no show twice now. The service worker named Frank showed up late twice and then didn’t even order the part the second time. This has been going on for a month. Each time he claimed I didn’t pay when I even went out of my way to show our bank statement of payment. By far the worst company ever. Do not go with them.

I didn't get any repairs done so I don't know how that service is. The phone service is horrible! Called and canceled my appointment, the repair guy still showed up. Calling now to make sure they don't charge my card and been on hold for 30 min. Not sure if this is a scam but feels like it. Actually ended up sitting on hold for 54 minutes then the call disconnected.

Unfinished Service, No accountability for his service mistake. New Issues On 03/21/2024 Frank from A&E Service came to our home for an appointment, to fix our washing machine, Sears had shipped the needed parts for repair. I was home and assisted him moving the washing machine out so he could access the back. He worked on repairing the machine and went to turn it on to check to make sure it was fixed. Here is where the trouble began. With the washer back in place Frank turned it on, to make sure it was operating. He went out to put his tools up, he came back thats when we heard water hitting the floor. Frank turned the machine off, and we realized that he had not attached the water hose in the drain pipe and the floor had quickly flooded. I pulled the machine back out by myself while Frank looked on. Then I quickly ran to the garage to get my shop vac. As I did this Franks phone rang and he said he had to take a call and went outside. I was vacuuming up all the water and Frank came back in and said he had to leave??? He had another customer. I asked if he was going to help me clean up the mess, and help move the washer back or check to make site everything was working. Frank curtly advised me “this was my fault” as my washing machine was not accessible.” Really, he started it without the proper placement of the hose. Frank walked out the door, got in his truck and left. After he left and I cleaned up the water mess. (see attached photos full bucket of water in shop vac ) struggled to push the washer back but myself and attach the hose correctly and I cleaned up all the boxes and debris from the parts he left. I now find that the washing machine door is not closing properly as it did before, (see video) Frank had removed the door when making the repairs and did not align it correctly when he reinstalled it. I don’t know how accessible the machine needs to be, in an open field? I don’t know of many homes that do not have the washing machine butted against a wall for the water source, in a utility room area. (See photos of laundry room) I feel his demeanor was unacceptable and rude. The door is now an issue to close and was not broken before. So far the washing machine has worked through a couple of cycles.
