*IS THERE A NO STAR OPTION? 1 STAR IS STILL TOO HIGH* We had an older gentleman by the name Jose M. stop by our place. If this technician comes to your house, immediately reschedule. He won't DO ANYTHING. He didn't even diagnose the appliances/machine. As soon as he see the appliance he'll jump on a call with someone and after about 45mins to a hour of sending picture and talking to ppl he'll leave your place saying he can't fix the unit. Unfortunately, he was the technician assigned to us to get our Washer/Dryer "looked at" (cause he didn't fix anything) on 2 separate occasions. And oth times he did the same thing. Never pulled out a tool, talked on the phone for 45 mins to an hour, took pictures, and left saying he couldn't fix it. First time he came and said he needed a helper technician to do the job. He assured me that he diagnosed the machine and the parts that were ordered by the first technician were correct, and that he just needed someone to help him. Came back 4 days later, with a helper, was on the phone for an hour, took pictures of the unit, and said he couldn't fix it and left. WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD!

This is the 3rd or 4th time our extended warranty company sent Sears A&E. Each time, the same thing. Show and identify problem and then the repair person (Jose L in this case) does not show up and no one contacts to communicate a delay or need to reschedule. We called and were told by AI and a human (3times) the tech will contact you and will be by. He did not show or communicate. We lost a full day and this has happened previously with them. Further the AI they depend on is woefully inadequate. To be clear our Tech Enrique who showed up the second say was fine and did his job, and waiting to confirm successful or not. We would not use them again.

The Technician removed the bolt on the motor of my LG washer and did not return it. Zero stars. Now that i could not have a second opinion about the Repair because of missing bolt.

It took way too long. I could never contact Sears. They never answered or called me back and the automated system always said i had no active repair order. I could get no info and no communication

I am totally upset with your service. This all started 4-5. I have been rescheduled 11 or 12 times. I had the part on 5-9, but it was bent. They rescheduled me for 5-12. I was concerned that I might not have the part by today, they assured me that the tech would be bringing it with him. Today when the tech arrived I asked him if he had the part, he said “no, that it would be shipped to me. I am really upset! When is the part to arrive? When will a tech be back?????

Unfortunately Emmanuel forgot to attach a zip tie to a pressure hose so when I went to use washing machine right after he left it flooded our entire laundry room, kitchen and adjoining closet.he swore he would make sure we would get help the next day and i stead he didn’t not do what he said he would and we can’t get help. Don’t ever buy any thing from Sears or an extended warranty from them. I have a valid warranty for this machine and they will not honor their commitments to service or warranties and you will be left with nothing and no way to remediate, or get ANY HELP FROM THIS DISHONEST COMPANY.

Today I had a Sears tech come out to fix my washer on 4/30/25 because it was leaking when it rinse. So the tech, Jose Ramos came to my house & talked to my husband and told him the problem and proceeded to order parts and said he couldn’t because my warranty was expired, which it’s not. So he documented that he was unable to get in the unit and reach anybody after he just talked to my husband. Lies and more lies he just didn’t want to do the job I guess. So I have to reschedule someone to come and fix my washer.

I wasted a whole morning waiting for the technician to arrive on 3/22 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM and service did not arrive. I am really busy and cannot afford to waste time. The technician did arrive today.

Jose was great! But, this problem was created by another Sears technician who serviced our ice maker 10 days ago. Jose said that because it was a recall, we owed nothing. Read Jose’s note on the work order. Worse, the problem is not permanently solved. I had to reposition the rail spring 2 hours after Jose left our house. Moreover, this appointment was supposed to have been on January 3 (yesterday) but your tech Enrique called to say he didn’t think he could make the appointment window. In short, Sears service deserves the one star rating given.
