Nice service Technician

Sears Home Repair services also known as A&E is The WORST, TERRIBLE, and most AWFUL service company ever!!!! DO NOT USE SEARS HOME REPAIR also known as A & E Home service. Sears did not call me for the virtual appointment they scheduled for July 25, 2025, Friday. A technician, Jose, came by but didn’t do anything because it was the same problem from February, March, April, May, June, July 2025. He already knew there was nothing to do. I explained to Jose, that technicians Wendell and Leo concluded that the problem was caused by a faulty fastener inside the machine over the years. So, each time your technician came to service the machine, they didn’t recommend that there was an ongoing problem that was causing rust. So, Sears is saying that they don’t cover the rust but the rust was caused by the faulty fastener inside the machine over the years. I didn’t purposefully spray water on the machine to cause the rust. Now, Sears says they won’t replace my machine because of rust, when I didn’t cause the rust. Again, the rust was caused by a faulty fastener inside the machine spraying water each time the machine was used over the years. And none of the Sears technicians who came to service the machine caught it, when they should have! I will cancel my contract with Sears now, and have my lawyers bring a lawsuit to Sears to refund all monies paid without the use of my machine. I will put the same negative evaluation of Sears Home Repair for the next 12 months on Yelp and online platforms.

Jose called me to say he would be a little later than the scheduled time and about when I could expect him. Repair people do not always do this, and it leaves you wondering when they will come. In addition, he explained the service he provided and gave clear instructions for the paperwork. Thank you!!!

Worked my issue until it was resolved.

Jose from A & E came to fix our dishwasher. He was a very nice man but didn't seem familiar with the computerized part that he was to replace. He called for help and got the job done and everything works like a charm. Thanks Jose for your good work.

This is not about the service people, this is about Sears abusing women and elderly tricking them, trying to sell them $1200 new appliance rather than fixing the old. Two parts is all the Kenmore 600 washer needs. That is a company procedure FAIL. Sears. Can't rely on them ever again. No wonder they closed all their stores, turning to tricks that do not work. I'll call the corner repair guy he is straight forward, gets the repair done, no hidden sales gimmicks. I also lost 4 hours of pay waiting for the service person.
