Morris was scheduled to come to my house last week and did not show up nor call. Waited till about 10pm on the scheduled date only for him to never arrive. Had to go another 3 days with no washing machine as they didnt have anyone availble to come the next day and weekends is not an option. He FINALLY shows up today on 6/10 asking "What was wrong with our machine". Something he should have already known coming into the job. He also had no idea how to open our washing machine door???? This is supposed to be an LG certified technician. I give a 1 star bc the "job was done" but while doing his job he broke another piece of my washing machine and did not have the decency to let me know. This service has been a nightmare from beginning to end and will never use Sears Home Service again. Lord knows how long I will have to wait for the replacement for the piece this man broke and hope to not get charged for this. BEWARE of Morris W. and Sears Home Service

Today's date 5/21/24 - I buy stackable washer/dryer from Sears. They install the appliances. Of course it breaks down, Technician 1 arrives, resets this and that, tells me it's good and leaves. First wash, same error code. Technician 2 arrives 4 days later, tells me it's a two man crew and he needs to come back. Technician 3 & 4 arrive a WEEK later, they try and try get the machines out of the closet, but don't have a Dollie to move the stackable washer and dryer out of the closet. They proceed to tell me their supervisors said I need to provide access to the back of the unit. Bottom line, they installed it, I am paying a monthly service fee for them to repair it, and now they want me to move out the equipment they installed? No way. How about you send technicians with the proper tools needed to remove the machines they installed. That's like to roofers telling me I need to provide them with a ladder to get the job completed....ridiculous! Was told a supervisor would call me to resolve the issue. It's been 3 hours, I called back, they are so disorganized that after 45 minutes they are sending someone out tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully they have a dollie! Not to mention, during all the jiggling and banging they were doing when trying to remove it, my filter door was damaged and won't fully close anymore. $20 says they deny the damage. Sears used to have a reliable reputation, what happened? Today's Date 5/22/24 - Update, Technician 5 let me know he does not have a dollie and his supervisor said I need to take out my stackable washer/dryer from the closet if I want it repaired. Funny how Sears installed it with a dollie, but the repair guys don't have a dollie to access the unit. These guys wiggle, jiggle, remove brackets, and fail instead of bringing a dollie....true definition of amateur hour. So I called Sears again, they are sending a different repair company today, with the expectation that they will need help and a dollie to pull out the machine. Let's see how this contract company does. I also noticed someone from Sears Home Repair asked me to go to Facebook and file a complaint. I prefer someone reach out to me directly if they would like to resolve the issue. Besides Sears warranty company is sending pros to help repair what they couldn't and another set of pros to address the damages to the unit. Another update with the name of the contractors will soon follow so you can request their services. Today’s date 5/28/24- 4th missed appointment. They won’t show up to fix my machine. I’ve missed 5 days of work and they cannot get their stuff together. As soon as they resolve my issue, never again from Sears or Kenmore. Absolutely garbage technicians, garbage company, garbage customer service. Not sure how they stay in business. Sears Home Repair is garbage. Don’t use it, it’s a trap. Their customer resolution is non existent. Terrible, terrible, service. I’m reporting them to BBB and department of consumer affairs.

Horrible Service and Customer Service. I called Sears for repair of my GE Refrigerator on March 18, 2024. A repair guy showed up on 3/20. The repairman said it was a fan in the freezer that was not working properly. The part was delivered on March 28th. Service was scheduled for March 29th. No one ever showed up. Then I was told that another repair person would be here on the 1st no one ever showed up. So the warranty company sent out another repair person who said that there was no problem with the fan as diagnosed by Sears said it was something else. Sears said on 4/9 that they would order a new part. Today is 4/30 no new part refrigerator is still not working and I was charged $100. Do not use these people. Customer service is awful. Very difficult to get someone to help you. It’s been a disaster!

GOD awful! Scammed us with the warranty. Took them FIVE AND A HALF MONTHS to fix our double oven. There's not enough time to explain the incompetence and stupidity of EVERY employee in this company. Numerous parts ordered by mistake, appointments cancelled without notice, idiot technicians who show up without proper resources. Just horrible all around. Don't EVER hire them! The WORST customer service in the world - no one comes even close to the hot mess this company is. Just a dumpster fire all around.

Really frustrated by the technician named Adam. Our over-the-range microwave broke in December and it had a Master Protection Agreement. He came, quickly inspected it, and ordered parts for repair. A few weeks later, he came to remove the microwave and install the parts. He even needed me to help him find an extension cord so he could test the microwave (why am I doing your job?). The repair didn't work. I told him, since it's not working, my protection agreement (which I paid for) entitles me to a replacement. His response was "I repair, not replace" and wasn't willing to help with a replacement. He insisted on ordering more parts and coming back later. So the microwave sat on the floor for weeks. Now it's February 8. He comes to work on the microwave. He says, "You should get the thermostat in the microwave replaced because it's old. And you should get a new plastic trim because it's broken." Why didn't you mention that before? Why are you still suggesting ordering more parts now and making this process even longer? Before he reinstalled the microwave, he asked me, "Are the long screws still in the cabinet (above the installation space)?" I have no idea. I didn't do the job! He got it installed and tried showing me that it worked so I could sign off on it, but the light stayed on in the appliance no matter what. He got confused and spent more time trying to fix it. He even dropped the microwave on the ground trying to repair it. He never fixed it and insisted he could do it after 2 hours of work. He tried to tell me he wanted another part and I refused. I told him either he's telling me a replacement is coming or he needs to clean up and leave. He cleaned up and left. He never told me I was entitled to a replacement even though I have the so-called "Master Protection Agreement." Adam was a stubborn, desperate guy and tried to convince me something was fixed when it wasn't.

1 star is too good. Your entire system is horrific. We have been waiting on repairs on various items since 12/8/23. This particular technician is inept, and disrespectful. He has come out 3 times for same item and due to his inefficiency the job has never been completed and is now denied. He has been rude while doing his service in our home We will cancel our contract soon and will post reviews in social media and local neighborhood sites if how horrible your service has been
