Dryer worked fine while the technician was here. The first load of laundry my wife put in the dryer it did not heat. the next Technician could not work on dryer because washer was on his repair order. Assurant from GE is not a friendly company they use AI and it is a total waist of time. Save your money and just pay for the repairs. They ordered parts and came back installed them. The dryer still doesn't dry the clothes. After two one hour cycles the clothes still aren't dry. Five service calls later and the dryer still only heats sometimes. After the first five or ten minutes it doesn't heat any more.

The technician arrived late, but did give us notice that he was behind schedule. Service went well. Technician left packaging from the replacement parts for us to dispose of.

Product was ordered with the wrong color and when I told the technician that the color was an error the technician said. He was going use it anyway instead of just sending it back and getting the right color. technician would also answer questions for insurance company instead of letting the insurance company answer the questions that are their responsibilities. Technician pushed his side services. That were not covered by insurance and instead that these services needed to be done and that I had to pay him for those services. Technician looked bother that i did not buy his extra service and kept pushing me to pay him to do them. He and his company would not respond to insurance companies questions. Trying to add more work they could get paid for.

Called me 30 mins before he was supposed to show up and told me he couldn’t work on my brand of refrigerator. I provided make and model info a week ahead of time.

Sears has failed four times to repair Kenmore dryer. Same parts installed three times over two months. Three different technicians worked on machine. I will never again allow Sears to work on appliances. Each time parts had to be ordered as trucks do not carry parts. Dryer not heating so thermostat replaced three times as well as heating element, common parts not available on trucks but took a week each time to have parts delivered. Very poor customer service.

He was able to complete the job that the other tech could not, after many appointments some missed, this claim is a 3 month claim. Over all Sears is an awful service repair company. No reflection on the tech today.

My refrigerator is 15 years old and my technician said my repair was not due to regular use which my insurance company then declined coverage, A thermostat that mounted in the top of the freezer that fell down then was pulled out by the drawer that holds frozen food is regular use. But because of the technicians findings it cost us 2000.00 to buy a new fridge . These Home warranty companies will do whatever they can to not cover the repairs.
