Oven was diagnosed late December. A part showed up 3 days later, 4 service calls were scheduled 2 were canceled' 2 nobody showed up. I ended up paying out-of-pocket to have the oven repaired myself.

Best Buy gave them the wrong address (I haven’t lived there for over a decade). I waited 2-weeks for my oven to be repaired that is under Geek Squad warranty, cleared my day from work to be here at my home (where my oven was delivered and set up at time of purchase). When I spoke with the repair tech, he said that they do not service at my current address. I’ve now been in the phone with Best Buy’s customer service for over 30-minutes to “change my address” and set up a new service date. I now do not have muse of my oven for Thanksgiving. Yay. Don’t buy an appliance from Best Buy if you live outside of Redding, CA.

Tech did not show up at all the first time date and 3 hours late the second date. Would not recommend using Sears Home Services, we will never use them again.

Joshua gave me a quote to repair my refrigerator. On the day he was repairing it after all the parts arrived, which were directly shipped to my house, he only replaced two of the six parts. He left for an emergency regarding his son before he could complete the job. On the next appointment, he finished replacing the compressor and filled it with coolant. When I asked why he didn't replace the parts that were shipped, he said he only ordered them in case they were needed. Noting "he has been doing this for a long time," and he doesn't think the extra parts are needed for this repair. He let me know if there is an issue, there is a 30-day window to call him back. The refrigerator stopped freezing again. I called him back to look at it. it was at this time that he told me the issue was a filter. (One of the original parts on the repair order) he let me know there was going to be another $400+ to repair this. Here is my problem: if he replaced it the first time (labor was already calculated in), my refrigerator would have been repaired. This makes it look like he knew this problem was going to come back so he could charge me more in a dishonest fashion. I asked him how he knew the issue was the filter, and his reply was, "I have been doing this a long time, and these refrigerators are notorious for it." This made me furious because he admitted to knowing that but chose not to replace it the first time. I feel very taken advantage of and have lost ALL trust in this technician. I called back in to talk to a supervisor and was forced to tell the operator this story. She was able to reschedule another technician, but nobody is looking into what Joshua put on his report to see if it lines up with what I witnessed. I will have the next technician look into the problem and forward me the notes for this case. On the day he came out to see why it quit working again, I was upset about him trying to charge me for his misdiagnosis and/or poor workmanship, I received an email update from the system that stated all new parts were installed. except for the Condensor coil, which states "Uninstalled." This makes me believe he is covering his tracks because he knows he did not install all of those parts. Questions I have: 1.) Was the only issue the refrigerator had, caused by the bad filter? I still have the "bad" compressor. I would like to see if it has actually failed or if there is anything wrong with it at all. 2.) If he did not install the parts, where did they go? EBay? I feel like I have had $539.95 taken from me by someone who intended to take at least $400 more. My refrigerator is going to tell the story to the next technician (Parts not being replaced) and I hope they send his supervisor to do the analysis. It makes me sick that people like this are out there taking advantage of people in their 70's and 80's.

Worst experience! Did not get a call from the technician but got an email from the company saying they came home and no one was there. Was at home the whole time. Called the company after receiving the email. Company refused to send the technician again or provide an explanation as to why the technician did not call.

HORRIBLE Tech #0563791 said he could not do the work, because of bugs and damaged counters and floor. He never even came into the house. This is has been going on for 2 months. Everything is clean and in excellent shape. He is LAZY

I am convinced these reviews are fake.No one showed up at all. Then they said they don’t have a record of the appointment being scheduled after the warranty company was paid. Check out Reddit. They have tons of similar complaints about them .
