The service technicians are terrific, and they have no responsibility for the issues I encountered. They are professional and just trying to deal with the bureaucracy in place in this convoluted system; but there are too many middlemen who aren't talking to each other. Lowe's warranty is contracted out to Assurant, who then subs it out to Sears Appliance Repair, who subs it out to another local repair company. Parts are ordered from Sears through the repair company, but they either don't always arrive, only part of the order shows up or the wrong thing is delivered. There is no way for the customer to inform anyone except for making a new appointment, wasting the repair person's time. Assurant thinks all the parts are delivered and cancels the claim, so then you have to create a new claim in order to get the correct parts or to get them installed. It's a hassle to get things repaired and if you work outside the home, it is more than frustrating.
