The technician who came out was so nice. I can't remember his name, but his ID number is 0030205. He was very knowledgeable in what he was doing and even explained in more detail about the home warranty process. Very professional and was always on time (he had to come out several times).

Such a disappointment! I initially requested a service repair because my microwave oven range went out in the middle of using. Turns out the fuse was blown. It was replaced & were given an extra fuse in case it happened again. Well it did, we replaced it again & it went out AGAIN! I initially did not want to do another service repair & fee for a simple fuse but as our microwave also connects to our stove range and light I ultimately decided it was necessary after “roughing it out” for close to a year. Well got assigned Sears home service for our repair & they arrived for our initial appointment on February 12 2026 timely & determined the issues & ordered various parts. Our technician stated they required to make every replacement possible before determining if a completely new unit is needed. So he ordered over $500 worth of parts. Before our next scheduled appointment for February 19 2026, Sears told us the parts were not going to arrive on time & asked to reschedule. So we did to February 24,2026. We then got an update that there was an availability for February 20 2026 in the afternoon so we accepted. Sears was not able to make it & rescheduled for February 26 2026. They again were unable to make it & rescheduled to March 3 2026. The technician arrived on this day & spent around 30 minutes(being extremely gracious because it felt like 10) making the repairs & telling me that it still does not work. He stated a motherboard(?) was needed to be ordered & would be back once delivered to install. The technician left and ended up closing out our service order. The following day I called my insurance company and explained that my unit is still not in working order & what the technician said would happen. He confirmed with Sears & said they closed it out accidentally & would be placing the parts order. My insurance company told me to call back once the part was received in order to schedule the repair with Sears again & not need to open another insurance claim as it was closed in error. So I waited. I finally got a call from my claims specialist on March 16 2026 and scheduled another appointment with Sears to essentially start over because nothing was ever delivered. This appointment was for March 20 2026. Sears then calls asking for a video appointment prior to determine the cause. So March 18 2026 I video chatted with a Sears technician who had me point the camera at the microwave & push buttons and open & close the door to show it’s condition. He reconfirms my technician will be there March 20 2026. The morning of, I get confirmation the technician will be there. I then get a message that states I have been rescheduled for March 26 2026 stating the reason being…they needed a 2nd technician with him. The day arrives and I get another message confirming that I myself requested to be rescheduled for April 1 2026. I thought this was a joke. I yet again stayed patient and accepted my fate. April 1st comes & im getting constant updates. Your technician will arrive today. ETA 1 PM. Next update ETA 2PM. Next update ETA 3pm. Final update…you have been rescheduled for April 8 2026. I don’t understand the disconnect & over booking. When you have no service representatives you can’t service your customers. I was never able to speak to anyone from Sears. Only the interaction I had with a technician. My warranty/insurance company was so great in the process of rescheduling & confirming all my appointments with myself AND Sears(bots?). But Sears ultimately let us down. I will never ask to be serviced by them if I can avoid it. I had to take off work early & lose pay because I was fooled into thinking the technicians were actually going to arrive so many times. I only give 2 stars because at first it seemed like they were trying to provide service but then got lazy

Zero stars if possible. Horrible experience. Appointment time was changed once to a later time. I left work early to be here on time but the technician never showed up. Made me miss work half days' work.

Sadly Sears is only in the diagnostic business. Their diagnosis on my dryer was correct but $129 is not cheap! Nor were the parts and labor they quoted me for the repair $$$ Same model dryer new is just a $100 more. If this company was actually interested helping ppl by fixing machines they wouldn’t gouge the customer. I was able to fix myself for less than $30 bucks in less than 30min. Will no longer be calling Sears to service appliances. Use YouTube to diagnose!
