The first repairman that came out was very rude and inpatient with us while we answered his questions and was very condescending, but the second time a repairman came out it was a complete turn around! He was very helpful, respectful, and just an overall great repairman! He answered any questions we had with the utmost respect.

My technician was really a nice guy and figured out the problem very quickly. I was very concerned though when I questioned him about the estimate for the repair. It was $237 in labor to clear a drain in the refrigerator. I was under the impression that the $99 service fee would be included as a credit against the $237 but it wasn't. The charge is outrageous given the fact that no parts were involved and it took him about an hour for the whole process. Will probably not use Sears repair in the future.

WELL, the guy came 1 1/2 hrs after the alloted time - 1-5 pm i think. he came at 6:30. and noone let us know that he would be so late until i called and had them call the guy and then have him call me. when they came the 2nd time, the guys were mad that the 1st guy didn't do the work and they seemed very irritated at having to do this big job. also, i think it is really ridiculous that they had to rebuild the machine - you should have just given me a new machine. it would have been more time and money efficient! the guys got nicer near the end of the work. but they really weren't too pleasant.

5 stars for the work. 1 star for not being on time. 3 stars overall. The technician was pleasant, knowledgeable and professional. He worked efficiently and was very nice. He replaced plastic parts with metal parts at no charge and he cleaned up after himself so that my kitchen floor (he was working on my dishwasher) was not super dirty. The only (major) downside was the lack of timeliness. The appt window was 8 am - Noon, but the technician did not arrive until 12:30p.m. The 4 hour window is crazy enough...being late is not acceptable.

Ultimately they did a good job but it took 2 trips and 2 weeks. The first repairman ordered a part but when the second repair man came to install he could not because the washer needed a second part which took another week to come in. It was my clothes washer and it took a while to get it right so it was a big inconvenience.

The repairman arrived on time and was very courteous. The "repair" that was done was sealing something that should have been done correctly when the refrigerator was manufactured.

Service on dryer. We had it serviced 4 months ago and the tech this time said the back was full of lint. Well why didn't the tech who came months ago catch that?

Excellent service when repairman finally arrived THE DAY AFTER I was scheduled. I was told (and warned several times beforehand) to be at home from 1 to 5 on a specific day. I cleared my calenday accordingly and waited. About 20 minutes before 5 a person calls to say he can't come. He said instead promised he would come between 10 and 11 the next morning so I wouldn't have to stay home all day again. No one appeared until about TWO the next day. He said he was not the person I had spoken to the day before as he had not worked that day. I am very pleased with his service. But SEARS service appointment department is not at a satisfactory level.
