Carlos came again this time for the dishwasher. He is an excellent technician. Works hard and is efficient. This time service warranty must be using AI to schedule. You cannot get a live person. That I don’t like. But it worked this time. It tak es a bit longer waiting for parts. The message below was from a previous post that maybe never posted so I left it below. Carlos is very pleasant and very efficient. A great tech! He gets the job done. Thanks! However, the Sears Home Warranty service is not good. You can only talk to a live person in another country (not in the U.S.) and most times they don't know what is going on. They work off a script and really cannot do anything more, not even connect you with a supervisor. Thankful to have Carlos when they let him come fix something!

Technician showed up on time. Fixed my ice maker. Smelled like cigarette smoke. I have no ice yet 3 hrs later. I was not informed of the service charge, unhappy to be charged almost $500, plus $129 estimate, after I had paid for the part. This info should have been provided.
