Technician was friendly and professional, listened. Had the part at today's appointment and installed. Dryer is working again so don't need another appointment, as of a week ago. Technicians are fine, the electronic way to handle the appts is ok for those who can figure it out but we have to work around the appt times to change anything. Washer was fixed today with installed part after the 3rd reschedule. Watching the Technicians route using the tab on the email link was ok till I saw the day ended for that appt and rescheduled for another week, I was able to get one sooner for another no show on that Saturday then job was completed on that Mon morning which I scheduled also so time wouldn't run out. I kept my cool explaining these missed appointments with customer service after each appt. even taking time away from an event I was at on Saturday. Management needs more employees and possibly have someone for emergency calls. In all the years we've had our sears warranties, never had so many no shows for appts. It's a management's problem. 5/22/25 All email appts need the orange view tab so customers can check the technician's status not just appt is today. The phone call that the technician is on the way is great so you know the clock didn't run out. Also, a phone call would be nice to let the customer know when the technician is done for the day, only sending an email with a reschedule is not professional. I have experienced all of this several times. Hopefully this second defective part replacement will work with the next appointment so we can be done with all this. Management needs to do better. Customer service and the technicians are fine.
