Disappointed in the lack of service An expensive part needs to be replaced and it wasn't shown to us at all. The machine wasn't even opened to indicate a review was done.

Water softener

Didn't install the new softener exactly where the old one was now a folded table I had stored next to it that he moved won't fit anymore. Asked him about a strap that was on the bottom of the old one that I removed he said he didn't remove it so he was not going to put it back. I removed it trying to see where the leak was. I guess it's policy but I think they should dispose of the old one. He said it was my property and it was trash and he doesn't take trash.

Most of his comments were on negative side. Telling me our smart ecobee thermostat isn't good and whoever wired it did it wrong, but then at end saying that it was wired correct after all. And I as homeowner is one who wired it with help of ecobee support, so didn't feel too good to hear his comments. He did confirm our furnace works, bypassing thermostat signal, so it narrows down issue which may be signal from thermostat, which is helpful.

The appointment was canceled at the last minute. There is no in person assistance. I was very disappointed with their service.

Kenmore 79641262610 Washer Repair

Technician came quickly and diagnosed problem as the drain pump and ordered part. Waited 2 days for part to arrive and technician came back. Washer has new error code of TE but he thinks it's LE and orders a Rotation Sensor he says is bad. Waited across weekend for part and Technician came Monday morning to install part. He now realizes the washer doesnt have that part on it and no confirms the TE error code. Opens washer back up and sees white thermistor wire has come out of terminal. He then wanted to order wire harness for the next day. I said to solder the wire back on and ended up doing it for him and washer now worked. Then I tried to get a refund for the rotation sensor but got no responses. There is only a AI chat bot, a AI call bot and it got rather rude when I asked to speak to a live agent. It just told none are available and asking again wouldnt change that. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company Never again will I use this service or brand again

Roberto was very rude and condescending . I tried to explain the problem of the leaking tube that was TEMPORARY fix to stop the leak. I asked him to change the hose to prevent further leaks . He said no. Since it's not currently leaking , it doesn't need to be changed! I mentioned it was under warranty and he said "Talk to them, I'm just the messenger." There was a wet spot on back panel near the water filter. He said he doesn't handle that. So he won't inspect it. Because of the leak from tube that ruined all my wood floors (24k damage to demo & replace). I wanted to be sure those leaks were looked at. I understand now the problem needs to be reported to my warranty company. However, the way I was treated by Norberto was inexcusable!!!

Horrible service

I wondered why I stopped using Sears for my washer/dryer maintenance/repairs, so I scheduled an appointment for today between 8am & 12pm. At 1:27pm I finally received a call from the technician that he should be at my house within the next hour. He provided the excuse that Sears put him on a late start schedule so he was behind on his appointments. An hour came and went. At 4:20pm I received another call stating he would be there in about 35 minutes. After arriving almost 5 hours late he didn't do any service to my washer. He said the problem I have been having for over a year didn't exist and it was likely something I was doing that created the problem. He didn't service the machine or take anything apart. He charged us $129 for the visit and was gone within 10 minutes. No service performed. No discount for being 5 hours late. I tried calling to have someone else come out and they don't have any people you can talk to. Only their AI named Samantha. Now I remember why I stopped using Sears. What a waste of time and money.
