It took three visits over 15 days for the technician to determine that the lack of cooling in the Kenmore Elite fridge could not be fixed. The automated scheduling bot was frustrating, as there are no options to speak with a human being. The only way to speak with a human was to call in a “new service request”, not related to the existing one. Even then, the call-center experience was poor. No more Sears Home Services or Kenmore appliances for us.

THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY!!!!! They took apart my ac in JULY and then just left. I have been without AC for over a month and they have missed two appointment and just say they ordered parts. Their service is based out of india so you can't even speak to anyone local. NEVER EVER EVER WORK WITH THEM!!!! I am still with no AC and can't get anyone to my AC. They left my unit in pieces so I can't even get someone to come and fix it because how they left. I never leave reviews but this company is the WORST COMPANY!!!!!!!!

If I could give below zero, I would. The technician never showed up yet. I was watching the “Track Updates” (or some such thing) on the email I received regarding the appointment. First, the time was between one to five, then it switched to 3 PM, then 5 PM, then 7:30, then stating “technician arrived” at my home. I waited until 9 PM. Sears Home Services closed my file because it had that the technician had arrived and fixed the problem. So now I can’t even complain to Sears because the case is “closed” on their part. I am still without a refrigerator.

The tech, Mike P. was great. No troubles there. My biggest issue is trying to get a live customer service representative on the phone once the appointment has been made. One of the expected packages was delivered in a box that was horribly damaged and appeared to have been opened, and previously shipped. It was retaped yet tape was open when we got it. This was supposed to be a new part. We couldn't get anyone live at Sears Protect to advise us. This isn't the first time we have had this issue. On a different repair call we needed to speak to someone. I don't remember the exact issue, but nonetheless, couldn't get to a live representative. Seems this is a regular thing, the techs say they hear it all the time. I really do think you should remedy this. It causes all kinds of undue stress and anxiety. We pay $600 a year for the plan and deserve better service.

The technician was GREAT! The service plan itself has very poor service! It took over 30 days for the garage door opener to be repaired with little assistance from the customer service representatives to explain the process.

Terrible service by Sears Home Services contracted by our home warranty. Our AC went out on June 2d, 2024 and we had to wait 4 days for service. On the day of service we were the last stop of the day. The Sears AC tech, Amir, arrived at 6:15pm. I explained to him what the problem was with the AC, the unit would turn on but the fan motor would not come on, making this terrible sound. He then proceeded to turn on the AC, the fan motor turned on. I explained to him, that the fan motor came on because it had cooled off, but once it heats up it would seize up. He looked at me with an incredulous look. He said it's working right now. He was lazy and should of checked it out. He did check the capacitor, sprayed water on the coils and added some freon. When he left at 7pm the AC was working but the fan motor stopped working 1 1/2 later. No 👎 bueno!! I called my home warranty company for a recall; however, they could get not schedule service until the following week. This is unacceptable we live in AZ and during the Month of June the heat is unbearable. I called a local AC service and they came out within one hour and replaced the fan motor. I had to pay out of pocket but it was worth it. Now our AC is working like a champ. Sometimes I wonder if it's worth it having a Home warranty .

Order 5 parts May 16,2024 Sear’s Technician made appointment for repair May 31,2024 never showed-up or not even a call. Been with broken washer till present. Had checked all parts ordered with sear’s dept. store,All parts ordered in stock. No communication with Sears response only pre-recorded messages to also saying parts in order. Today’s Date June 11,2024

Sears is completely clueless. Pedro missed an appointment to refill my refrigerator with freon. This required me to borrow a cooler from my neighbor and to fill it with ice to store my food. Some of it still spoiled. Sears has been to my house 14 times and still has been unable to fix my refrigerator. Use them at your own peril.

Had a service call for 2 ac units, technician shows up and says he only has order to fix 1 unit. Yet it's written in the service description (roof unit and ground unit) after that discussion the tech works on ground unit and says it's dirty and it's $49 to clean it, I never said, " ok let's clean it " then he asked if I had a hose and said let me show you how, he rinsed the unit off for a total of 90 seconds and then said it's low on freon, he filled the freon back up and refused to look at the other unit that wasn't cooling on the roof, said he was too busy, then walked out to his vehicle to "put something away" and DROVE OFF!!! Horrible customer service SEARS / A&E ! NOW I'm stuck with one unit not working and the other unit struggling to make up for it with 5 kids at home and one NEW BORN BABY!! IT'S 105° TODAY... Not what I'd expect from SEARS. WE WAITED 1O DAYS FOR THIS APPOINTMENT with no AC!!! I'm blown away (by warm air).. thanks for nothing sears A&E ... now what??!?!
