The tech did his job. Had no problems with him. However, it took 6 appointments (3 rescheduled appts that Sears made, 1 no call no show from a tech, 1 appt where the tech showed up but didn’t have the part). They are the hardest company to call, automated service. Couldn’t talk to an actual person. I guess when you have a warranty this is the service you get….slow! No sense of urgency from this company! I was without a washer for 3 weeks! Sears should have to reimburse me for my laundromat visits. I only stayed with them because of the warranty otherwise I would’ve used another company! Worst service ever!!! I DO NOT recommend this company!

Per my cameras the technician showed up and stood at front door for less than a minute and then left. Sears sent a text message that no one was home!

The first technician that came out seemed really nice and helpful. The second technician that came out after the part arrived tried to find every reason possible not to fix my dryer. His name is Ken. Ken's social and customer service skills need help. He was condescending and really had no idea what he was doing. How do I know this? My husband is an experienced industrial electrician and machine repair technician. We like to mqintain a home warranty contract and hire someone to fix the issue because he deserves time off as much as anyone else. Ken didn't communicate a plan or even say goodbye. It wasn’t until my husband stopped him on the way out our front door to ask him the plan that he communicated the plan to us. Terrible social skills. Terrible customer service. He is in the wrong industry unless he gets much needed customer service training. He ordered more parts without even opening the dryer to look at it. On the 3rd encounter, after insisting that Ken needed another person with him because he had to lift the entire top portion of the dryer off, the original technician that had come out arrived before Ken. The original technician took the front off the dryer, saw a piece of clothing that had somehow gotten stuck in the fan, removed it, tested the dryer and put the front back on. No parts were needed. He did all this before Ken arrived. Ken's original arrival time was set to be by 8:10 am. No one arrived until after 2:00 pm. If I place another appliance claim through American Home Shield, I will INSIST they do not use your company. Though the original technician was very kind and personable, he could have opened the front of the dryer on his 1st visit and fixed the issue immediately. Instead, I went 3 weeks without a dryer for a 10 minute, no parts required fix. Your service was so bad that my home warranty company returned my deductible. Do better Sears.

They showed up after waiting 9 days to get a service tech out. Is all I can really say that was good. Telling the wife and I that we were missing filter in the AC where they dont go was the least of the issues.Then trying to explain the AC won't get below 80 when its triple digits is normal. Had to called a second AC to actually repair system. Won't use Sears for a warranty service again.

Didnt have part, didn't try to find, still charged me $119 for doing NOTHING. Totally unfair, i feel like Sears ripped me off.

The tech was condescending. He refused to inspect our entire AC system. He didnt take the time to explain the repairs he made. Also, didn’t seem interested in hearing or addressing our concerns.

We were told that with the $119 diagnostics fee that we would then be sent the parts number that needed to be replaced…. Still we have nothing.

Tech refused to install a thermostat that I purchased. Instead installed the most basic, generic thermostat he had with him. It's smaller than the one he replaced so I need to waste money on a quart of paint just to paint around the thermostat. The one he installed required rewiring, where the one I had did not. AND the issue turns out to not even be tge damn thermostat!!! If I could give a zero I would. 2nd visit, technician rude, condescending and arrogant!!

Our total experience with this Sears service company was an unsatisfactory experience. Started by a service technician that had an attitude of I know better, and that is how it goes! Your technician had to come to my house twice to get the parts numbers. The second time he came (October 13th), he scheduled an appointment for October 20th to install the parts that he ordered. The problem arise the day of the appointment when the technician that had made the appointment did not show after I waited for him from 8am to 5pm on Friday October 20th. My wife and I tried numerous times to contact the technician to confirm that he was coming, he did not replied. We also try Sears customer service and the only thing we got was an automated answering telling us that we had an appointment schedule. After taking my day off from work and costing me over $250, we did not hear from Sears customer service nor the technician to let us know anything about our appointment. "We were left out for cold." After 5:00 pm I was very upset and texted your technician telling him how unprofessional he was for not replying to my numerous phone messages though the day. The following day { Saturday} your tech came and began to repair the refrigerator; then he discovered that one of the parts previously drop shipped to our house was damaged and he told me that he was not going to be able to finish the repair and had to re orderer the part. After another week of waiting, the new part arrived and a different technician came and replaced it. All of this ordeal lasted almost a month. I hope my refrigerator finally it's done and repaired. So to finish, I have to give your company the lowest rating possible/ bad review due to my bad experience with your company. I do not recommend it to anyone!
