Problem was finally fixed after numerous delays and appointment cancelations. Technician did a good job when ghelllhe did arrive. i give him 5 stars but, after a months worth of appointment cancelations, I give the Sears company a big fat zero! I am also having my doubts about staying with American Home Shield. They don't use local companies. Instead, they seem to contract outside town companies, further delaying the repair process by weeks, leaving the customer hanging. I cannot recommend this Sears company as a company I would ever want to use again. You cannot talk a to live person to discuss anything. All you get is AI and your it cant always awnser questions . Absolutely horrible customer service!

4 try's to get service Tech to show up! No knock on door or text to announce they were here! 06/19/25 I was sitting in driveway from 08:30 until sears update saying Tech was here at 3 pm! No Tech as they would have run me over sitting in driveway!!!!! Bad service response, have filed a grievance with sears. Still no working fridge, going on 3 weeks. Sad, If I had done this to one of my security customers (before I retired) I would have lost my job the first missed appt. for not contacting the customer to advise them of a problem. no contact with me at all!!!!!

Technician great!! Not happy with Sears and ai experience. We waited all day to then be told you weren’t coming. That is unacceptable! And we could not speak to a human on the phone.

Technician misdiagnosed the problem and electrician was consulted to fix incorrect issue. Having trouble getting technician back to find real issue.

Was unable to fix my burners, while trying broke my oven which was working fine! Our stove has been worked on 15 times or more, when we asked him to call his manager and tell them this stove isn't fixable he wouldn't, just kept saying it's all about the money!! Sears doesn't get paid if they don't fix it!! Well sears got paid a lot and we still don't have a working range/ oven

I called for a simple stove repair and was promptly asked to pick a service option that included more fees, more commitment than I was looking for, it ended up being a sales call all I wanted was appliance service.

He said he came by and did not. Said part was coming and didn't. Now it will be after Thanksgiving, so I can't cook turkey dinner. Very upset with the Sears company

Technician came to look at my washer, charged $129 then told us it would be $900 to replace tension rods, that the parts were $150 each and we needed 4, why would I pay that when a new washer is less than that. I found the parts through Samsung for $77 for all 4. When we called to complain we felt taken advantage of, they said we refused an estimate, why refuse when that is what we paid for. Will never use Sears again.

They sent a technician out to inspect our fridge. The technician said it was the control board but he didn’t bother taking it apart to inspect it. We had to pay $550 ($80 part, $470 in labor) up front or else the technician said he wouldn’t order the part or schedule a day to come back at install it. The part arrived a few days later and the Technician came back a week after the initial diagnostic. The technician took out the two screws for the control board and found that the control board just wasn’t plugged in all the way. He plugged it back in and our fridge was working again. He said we didn’t need the new part after all and returned it for us and refunded us the $80. I have since contacted this company about being refunded for the labor since the problem should have been fixed at the initial inspection (only $130). No one has returned my calls or emailed me back. I get the run around and never get to talk to anyone on the phone about this issue. Piss poor customer service. I will never use this company again.
