We have provided the serial number but they ordered the wrong parts. We have a stand alone freezer but order parts for a refrigerator. We were told to call the warranty company and open a new repair order. We did. The warranty company open a new repair case with the serial and model number but the name of the appliance was listed as a refrigerator instead of a freezer. The repair technician refused to do the repair unless the warranty provider correct the name to freezer instead of a refrigerator. Back and forth between the technician and the warranty company and my freezer is not fixed yet. Waiting for over 10 days.

She advised that a newer AC that couldn’t hold temp was because the outside unit was in the sun and left saying nothing is wrong and it was cooling like it should. The set temp was 76 and it was 82 in the house.

The ordered part was shipped to us. No one informed us so someone came out and it billed our warranty 124.00 for nothing as part not arrived yet. Took time and attention to be there for the technician who didn’t have anything to do.

Near the end of April, while my dishwasher was still under its’ paid-for three-year warranty, I initiated a warranty service for my Samsung dishwasher. I told them that the soap dish wouldn’t open during the cycle. A service date was scheduled for two weeks after my call. This was postponed by an email to a week later with no call to me or asking me if that date was available for ME. No one bothered to tell me why it was postponed. On the second given date, Bernard came out and said it was the soap dispenser and put in an order for a new one. Nothing else was checked as far as I know. Over a week later, the new unit arrived, and then I waited another week or so before another technician, James, came out to install it. He didn’t run a full cycle but said to call him if the same thing happened. James told me it would probably be the Control Board if It continued to stay closed. It did. So it was NOT the dispenser that Bernard originally told me. I finally put in a request for Recall Service (that was told me by Steve) after many many tries to get a human voice. The day of the service, Bernard called me on my cell while I was out shopping and told me I had to pay $119.00 travel charge and that I did the recall wrong. He said I was supposed to go back to Lowe’s warranty service to schedule this. This was a recall through Sears Home Services under my warranty (through Lowes) which (by this time, 2 months since I started this process) had now expired. In over two months my dishwasher STILL has not been repaired, I have gotten nothing but a run-around with your telephone tree which only allows me to answer YOUR questions, but not ask any of my own, making it impossible to actually explain what is going on. When will you accept that it IS your responsibility? I had a warranty for this dishwasher, and you let it expire and not fix my problem.

Called Sears Appliance Repair to fix an ice maker on a not so old fridge. They subbed it out to a local repair company. Paid $600 to repair. 37 days later it’s not making ice regularly anymore and what it does make is dripping. Called Sears for a follow up. Sears Appliance Repair said warranty on repair was only 30 days. I was 7 days past so repair would be a new charge. I’ll let you decide if you would use their services. Fool me once!
