Do not use Sears!!!! I scheduled a washer repair. Technician came and said I needed a drain pump. He then said the part was ordered to be sent to my home. He took full payment ($$$$) and I waited for a part that after 26 days had not come. When I called, each time I got AI and bots on chat. Appt kept getting moved forward a week. I feel like someone came to my home to extort money from me. I called a local business, and they sourced 5 pumps in minutes. It took the new company 36 hours to repair. I am still trying to get a refund from Sears. They say I cannot have the 129.00 initial fee back, which is not fair since they had no means or intentions of repairing my washer. I am still waiting for the balance to be refunded. The local company was also a third of the cost. After researching Sears reviews I see I am not the only one being cheated. Sears will make a good amount cheating people for $129.00 non-refundable diagnostic fee. Technicians' diagnostic was putting his finger in the pump and saying it was worn. He never even turned on the washer.

After three visits the problem with frost in the freezer still remains. This is not acceptable. If on the first visit the repair person had installed the defroster correctly then the ice would not have melted into a big blob and burned the motor up. Which now Sears wants to charge over $600 to fix when it was your company's fault. It has taken three try to fix our problem. Your organization owes for the two service calls that were needed to fix the mistakes form the first repair. Not to mention the broken ice maker.

I scheduled twice for Sears to repair my refrigerator only to receive a message at the end of each scheduled window that the appointment would be canceled. I wasted two days waiting for repair, with no way to speak to a human to even find out why the appointments were canceled.

Dylan, the technician, was courteous and efficient and got the job done quickly. Sears Home Service is truly horrible to deal with! My parts were ordered and came in the next day. Their system did not recognize the delivery confirmation, so the automated system kept pushing out my appointment. Repeated phone calls were a waste of time because there are ZERO human agents. Everything was “handled” by an AI bot. The experience was terribly frustrating!

Insurance company sent them to my house after lightning strike. Tech diagnosed my problem. Called to order parts. Hung up and told us that the parts were noy available. Did not put that in his comments. Have been calling him to amend his comments, he will not answer or return my messages. Very unprofessional and downright rude. I will not recommend this company.

If I could give zero stars, I would. If you can avoid doing business with this company, I highly recommend you do. 1. Their scheduling systems sucks. Your appointment is a whole work day (8-5) that gets narrowed down to a more specific time IF the tech can get to you. They overbook so expect to be rescheduled (we were more than once). Also expect the call center to not be able to help you and there is no supervisor to talk to nor a way to contact your tech directly. We spent around 1 -1 1/2 weeks trying to get 3 appliances diagnosed after lightening struck our home. We were rescheduled more than once, then we were told we’d need separate techs to look at our laundry machines and dishwasher even though they’re all certified to do everything, then lie and say you cancelled that new appointment for just that one appliance that couldn’t happen the same day as the other just with a separate tech when you in fact did NOT. 2. You pay over $100 for them to guess what’s wrong, at least in our case. After that you have to pay for repairs if you choose to. Thankfully it was cheaper to just replace our machines. To keep it short, buy appliances that don’t limit the repair company you can work with. I can’t tell you how upset we were this was the only company we could work with because of the brands of appliances we had. That’s not a problem now, and yes I told the company how poorly I thought of them on the phone.

They been coming out to my house for about a month to fix my refrigerator. First time I understood they had to diagnose, set next appointment 10 days out ordered part, come back still not fixed order another part, set appointment 10 days out, first it says they will call the morning of and let you know the time frame of visit, okay no call, so he calls and says I'm 10 minutes out I'm like okay Ill let the person know who is going to be there so I never received a call saying I'm here so next thing I know they send a text saying sorry we missed you I'm like hold on so you never called and said you made it or anything. If you call and said I'm 10 minutes out and I answer if you came and you got no answer wouldn't you at least call me back and say I'm here there do answer at the door. Which brings me to the obvious you never came. Horrible service I chat with a live agent who finished the chat before I was ready. I'm tired at this point. Find you someone local that is honest and dependable or you'll wait a month or more for service

Guy showed up promptly for his appt. Then he walked into the laundry room and pressed the button on the clothes dryer. The dryer turned on with a squeal, ran fine, heated up normally, and then he opened the door to turn to off the dryer. Then, he said you need a new motor will cost $695.00. I said, that's crazy; it needs a new rubber belt. He said the motor was bad and was shorting out, Then, I replied that it needed a rubber belt replacement since it squealed upon starting up and running. Then, I replied again by stating that I could buy a brand new dryer for $695, and I would do that before buying a new motor. Then, the tech said, ",It will be $119 for the service call. I rebutted and said, if you do just a service call and then took the metal cover off and looked inside the dryer in order to mke a correct diagnostic evaluation to learn what was causing the squeal on initial start up. He said, "No. Have a blessed day," and then walked out my front door and left. On the way out,, I told him that I would pay the $119, but he needed to evaluate the dryer, first. He said, "No," and kept on walking to his van and left overall peaceful -- but helpful at all. Then I called an appliance store who told me I had a worn belt that needed to be replaced.
