It would have been nice to have been told up front that most all repairs will have a $300 labor charge if work is completed. For just a little more money I can purchase a new dryer. Could have saved the diagnostic charge had I know the additional labor charges.

I can’t tell from the emails what the technician found or what he did to fix it. Before he came it wouldn’t make ice. Now it does but the ice is cloudy. He made reference in one of the emails that it needed cleaning but I did immediately clean it after he was here the first time. So I still don’t know what was wrong.

I have waited for repairs on refrigerator ice part and bottom 2 drawer for a month and half keep making me try to reschedule even today was trying to get repaired before my total knee replacement next week worst serve ever . Will probably not renew warranty . I’ve keep every text they ‘be sent me

They been coming out to my house for about a month to fix my refrigerator. First time I understood they had to diagnose, set next appointment 10 days out ordered part, come back still not fixed order another part, set appointment 10 days out, first it says they will call the morning of and let you know the time frame of visit, okay no call, so he calls and says I'm 10 minutes out I'm like okay Ill let the person know who is going to be there so I never received a call saying I'm here so next thing I know they send a text saying sorry we missed you I'm like hold on so you never called and said you made it or anything. If you call and said I'm 10 minutes out and I answer if you came and you got no answer wouldn't you at least call me back and say I'm here there do answer at the door. Which brings me to the obvious you never came. Horrible service I chat with a live agent who finished the chat before I was ready. I'm tired at this point. Find you someone local that is honest and dependable or you'll wait a month or more for service

My 80 year old mother has a refrigerator that has been n broke for 5 moths she has a extended warranty contract on they have laied to her and cheated her out of money she needs help but can't get them to show up do not buy from sears

Guy showed up promptly for his appt. Then he walked into the laundry room and pressed the button on the clothes dryer. The dryer turned on with a squeal, ran fine, heated up normally, and then he opened the door to turn to off the dryer. Then, he said you need a new motor will cost $695.00. I said, that's crazy; it needs a new rubber belt. He said the motor was bad and was shorting out, Then, I replied that it needed a rubber belt replacement since it squealed upon starting up and running. Then, I replied again by stating that I could buy a brand new dryer for $695, and I would do that before buying a new motor. Then, the tech said, ",It will be $119 for the service call. I rebutted and said, if you do just a service call and then took the metal cover off and looked inside the dryer in order to mke a correct diagnostic evaluation to learn what was causing the squeal on initial start up. He said, "No. Have a blessed day," and then walked out my front door and left. On the way out,, I told him that I would pay the $119, but he needed to evaluate the dryer, first. He said, "No," and kept on walking to his van and left overall peaceful -- but helpful at all. Then I called an appliance store who told me I had a worn belt that needed to be replaced.

My entire experience with Sears has been HORRIBLE!! Do NOT recommend! Original tech made $520 in wrong part recommendations, my appts have been rescheduled multiple times only for TODAY’S tech to get here and tell me it will cost even MORE and the parts ordered were WRONG. It’s not even worth it to repair it now with these costs. A competent tech should have known this on FIRST visit. To add to the problem, Sears deducted immediately for cost of parts but my refund? I have to wait 8-10 business days for PAPER CHECK and that’s IF this tech did the refund paperwork right. DON’T EVER USE THIS COMPANY!! Even speaking to a live human for help is a nightmare!

This service has been absolutely atrocious!! I have THIRTY TWO emails from Sears about my upcoming appointments. I started this mess on May 9th when my washer stopped working. It is now June 13th. I’ve had three people come out to my house and waste my time and 3 different appointments cancelled after I’d waited around for them. It is impossible to speak to an actual person. Just IVRs and chat robots. I needed to change my phone number and it took me spamming “help” in the chat before a real person helped me. She supposedly updated my phone number and then lo and behold, the number wasn’t updated and they called the wrong number for my next service appointment so they called the wrong number and cancelled. One time I was told that they installed some part……that they absolutely never installed. They told me next time that they’d get someone else to come out and install that same part. Today was the final straw. Someone came out and said they fixed it. I started it before he even left the driveway and ran outside to tell him it was still having issues and it was rattling and something was obviously loose. He said someone would call me tomorrow. You guys really need to work on your customer service and resolution. Come to my house and don’t leave until my washer is fixed. Bring your best guy and bring your tools. Test it before you go. I need someone to contact me ASAP about this and I do not want to have to have multiple additional people come out.
