Sears has been out numerous times for the same dishwasher problem, and this was the 1st time that I did not receive a text or email with the link to know roughly when they would arrive. I finally got one when the repairman was about 15 minutes away. Fortunately, I found a previous Chrome tab of the link that worked. It would have been pointless to try and contact Sears because it's just an endless maze of menus and there is no way of actually speaking to a real person - ever. Jeff was very friendly and courteous and wasn't fazed at all by my 2 large dogs, which was nice. I explained the ongoing issue and what had already been done and that my dishwasher was still stopping periodically after the presoak. The detergent holder was also increasingly frequently not opening, but didn't seem to be connected to the stoppage of the cycle. Of course, the dishwasher wouldn't perform it's problem on command since it doesn't happen every time. I'd had multiple parts replaced and 2 video appointments with Sears technicians, and at the last one was told that it was time for a Frigidaire tech to be consulted while an on-site serviceman was here (Jeff) and that he would note it. When I told Jeff this, he seemed unaware of it and didn't think it was possible. He did run the washer well past the point of where it usually quits, and of course it didn't. He told me the only thing left to do was replace the detergent dispenser. I felt like he didn't really believe that I was having trouble with it stopping after everything that's been replaced and it working for him. I was told he had to send it in as just needing to replace the dispenser, but he had to get approval on the cost from American Home Shield first since the dishwasher is old. I don't recall this being an issue with all of the electronics that were replaced. I guess I'll continue the wait and see game - will or won't my dishwasher complete the washing cycles? Will or won't Sears figure out what's wrong with it? Will or won't the different Sears repairman and technicians get on the same page?

Worked on oven and got the 2nd igniter installed. THE oven light not working now but was working before the technician started the job.will have to get it repaired.

Other than having to deal with a computer from the beginning, it would have saved time and effort if the technician had come out at the start of the issue. In-person evaluation would have saved a lot of time and money (for the laundromat that we don't have) and the expense of unnecessary parts being ordered to prove unnecessary. The technician himself was amazing, friendly, helpful, courteous and told exactly what was wrong, fixed it and left with everything being clean and working. Your automated system leaves a lot to be desired and I will NOT be purchasing anything from sears in the future. Try going back to the old way of dealing with the problem in person and not remotely from a computer that can't actually see the problem or the appliance and maybe your business will improve again. Sorry but computers DO NOT replace a human in most needed things in life, the human connection will always be better than a machine

Notification from website is GARBAGE sends times all over the place. Expect you to stand and stare at your door between 8a-5pm. Time jumped from 1pm to 1030am to 11am etc. Technician NEVER called and notifications didn't come to phone I had to WATCH WEBSITE. Technician rolls up takes a picture of door "customer isn't home" - literally just didnt hear him and no attempt to call me. Claims left voice mail, no call no voicemail. Total garbage.

We bought a fridge from Home Depot July 3 of last year. Had a one year. In April it started having issues with the ice maker and tons of shaved ice. Called Frigidaire to let them know. Just want to warn anyone I can not to buy any appliances that Sears home appliance will be servicing so maybe I can save you the headache we have had. Sears Home will ONLY do Wednesdays for repairs. Scheduled an appointment for them to come out. I took off work. Waited ALL DAY and when I was the next person for them to come to it was 6pm and they just cancelled my appointment and scheduled me for a Wednesday two weeks out. No courtesy call or anything just canceled. Again made an appointment took off work (I own my own business so have to reschedule all of my clients again.) Guy maybe shows up. Looks at my fridge. Says yep it’s broke. But he can’t fix it cause all of the ice in the freezer. Like…. Duh yeah. I know it’s broken. That’s why you’re here. Had parts from sears delivered to my house prior to the first appointment. Kevin says yeah I’ll just say that I put them on and we fixed the issue so you can keep the parts. I said absolutely not! The fridge isn’t fixed and I’m not going to lie to “keep parts if I want to”. He tells me to unplug the fridge and let it thaw for 48 hours (I’m a single mom of three boys) and told me to get another freezer in case this happens again. We schedule another appointment two weeks out. My stepmother drove two hours to sit at the house so that I wouldn’t have to miss work AGAIN. Sears confirmed the appointment over the phone the day before. While I’m at work I get a message that says the appointment was canceled and needs to be rescheduled again (no reasoning behind why it was cancelled). Absolutely the worst customer service and service from a business in a long time. Had to throw away over 300 dollars of food and days of work lost for nothing. Ended up calling another service repair. They are coming out Monday. I will never ever buy another appliance ever that is attached to the sears name. We have spent countless hours through live chats and phone calls with the customer service that is not inside the us, they won’t do anything to make this right. Awful. Simply Awful.

The same technician, "KEVIN" was dispatched to my residence twice in the past two weeks for two different jobs. It was the same outcome. "NOTHING!" He doesn't do any work. He only wants to get paid the "service fee" for not doing anything that's productive and the same issues I had with my 27 inch double oven wall unit, the top half stopped working completely and the bottom half of the oven still heats, but one of the heating elements has burned out. And my Kenmore refrigerator is still leaking water. The same pre-existing issue from October 2022 that another technician from Sears was supposed to fix, but evidently he didn't properly fix it. Otherwise, the same issue wouldn't be reoccurring less than two years later. The reason this recent technician "KEVIN" from SEARS was dispatched to "fix" my rrefrigerator on Wednesday, 06-19-2024 is a sorry, lazy, lying and dishonest technician. HE ONLY WANTS TO GET PAID!!! NOPE!!!! My refrigerator is still leaking. And my refrigerator freezer has been overheating, and the coil is burning fire red. He says that's not a problem. He didn't even attempt to fix it. He should have told my warranty company that I need a new refrigerator. If pre-existing conditions keep reoccurring and a new issue with the freezer overheating. He also keeps his voicemail inbox full, so customers won't be able to contact him verbally. He's too up in age for his foolishness!
