Washer was suppose to be fixed and the technician left my home. I put clothes into the washer and turned the washer on and the washer filled and then stopped working. I tried for an hour to get ahold of someone to have the tech come back out and all I get is a message to set up an appointment. No way to get ahold of anyone. Choice Home Warranty is a joke.

The Tech, Shane, was great. Great personality and knowledgeable. When I scheduled the service, the webpage said it would reduce the diagnostic fee from $129 to $99. It did not and I had to pay the full price. Shane could do nothing to fix it because it's all automated. I don't blame him. I blame the lying system that lures you in and then charges full price. I have screenshots of the page saying it would be reduced.

The technician was terrific (Eli, smart, efficient, and friendly)! The website and the AI customer service, not so much...HOWEVER, less than a month later, the leak is now WORSE...SAVE YOUR MONEY and book someone else.

He arrived early this morning and hopefully the new ice maker works better than the old one. I only gave one star because there is absolutely no excuse for a no-call, no-show yesterday. I was an insurance catastrophe adjuster for 32 years working every major hurricane, wild fire, and flood from Hurricane Alicia in 1983 through Hurricane Katrina and beyond. I only missed 2 appointments in all those years!! I was livid that the only interaction I had with you people was through a robot!!!!!!!!! That is incredibly disrespectful!!! You don't work FOR robots so get it together and allow us to talk to a warm body!! Also, all those years of working catastrophes, I NEVER gave anyone a nine hour window. I gave a 3hr window and I called before the appointment before I was late to let the people know I was running behind. Even working Katrina I worked no less than 5 claims per day and only missed 2 appointments. That's called RESPECT!!!! I do not plan on every working with you guys again!!!!

Horrible customer service you can not speak to a person. Repair person showed up and was upset I didn't receive the parts they ordered. UPS said I need to file a claim. Now they are going to come back and guess what I still don't have the parts

American Home Shield hired Sears to fix our dryer that had stopped heating. Joel supposedly replaced the heating element with a new unit; however, one month later, it stopped heating again. Either it was a faulty part, an issue with installation, or it wasn't the real issue in the first place. Unfortunately, one cannot call Sears for an actual person to discuss. I can schedule a tech to come back out, but if they decide the issue is different, I'll have to pay $129. The text I was sent says the visit is $129 and does not acknowledge that the issue is the same. It's just a gotcha. Ultimately, 1. skip the home warranty, and 2. refuse the Sears option, because you will not be able to speak to a live person.

Scheduled Twice and Repairman never showed. I scheduled Thursday 8-12. Received a text at 11:50 saying the would arrive at around 1:30. So I had to reschedule to go back to work. Rescheduled for the next day 8-12. Again, no one showed and no text alert that they were not coming. Finally at 5:40 pm , I receive a text that they cannot make it. So that is 8 hours out of my day waiting on a repairman, when I needed to be at work.

We are only satisfied with the service technician provided. I am still not pleased with Sears Home Services. I will never use them again. It them over 6 weeks to repair my oven. They were not truthful in the updates provided. FUTURE USER OF THEIR SERVICES BE WARE!

I never received a phone number to contact you!! Ed showed up not being able to fix problem. Then got on phone with his supervisor to make sure they would get their service fee for being there two minutes. He then left and forged my receipt. Then sent me an email that I accepted it. Shame
