    Sears techs know what they are doing. They come in and fix the issue. This repair went along swimmingly, but I know they are given too many appointments to be able to get to them all in one day. Thus the reason, the last time we had a repair, it took till the third appointment for someone to actually show up.The techs don't want to disappoint customers, but they just can't get to all of them when thwy have 12 appointments in a day. Still, I was satisfied with this repair. Thank you

  3. Terrible customer service!

    Our repair was rescheduled for the next day because the technician was held up on a previous job. Day #2 I was assured we would be the first appointment after lunch (around 1pm). But 5:15 we still hadn’t heard from anyone. Called and talked to Sears customer service who basically told me they knew nothing and it looked like someone should be at my house soon (my appt time was 1-5, so they were already late). Finally at 5:30 the technician called and said he would be there by 5:50. He did show up, talked over me the entire time. After interrupting me at least 4 times with incorrect assumptions about what was wrong with my washing machine my husband finally interrupted him and asked him to just allow me to explain the problem. I was eventually able to complete 2 sentences to explain the problem and it was fixed within 15 minutes. I then had to leave during the repair, because he was an hour late and I had to get my daughter to an event. 10 minutes after I left I was informed that my name was on the ticket so he would not accept payment by credit card from my husband (despite us both being there with him at the beginning of the appointment). I had to drop my daughter off and return just to sign for the payment (which I had already entered on the Sears website but he claimed “sometimes doesn’t transfer to our system”). I was also given a 20%off coupon by Sears when the technician was late, which I was told by the technician I could not use on less than $100. My repair was $95. This was the worst repair experience I have ever had. Sears customer service was unhelpful, the technician was both late and rude. I will likely never use or recommend Sears again.

    Hi Christine, we appreciate you taking the time to give your feedback. We understand your frustration with the Technician being rude and your time wasted having to go back and sign, we sincerely apologize for your repair experience. This is not the experience we want for our members.

    everthing was fine with the service, but the window was from 2-4 pm but did not arrive until 5pm had to call to see what was happening

  5. Absolutely awful!

    Service tech was more interested in avoiding downtown trafftic on his way home than he was in diagnosing the problem with my dryer. He cleaned a little lint out of the trap and claimed that I would see a big improvement in drying time. He was so wrong!!!

    Salvatore P. (Washer machine technician) was very knowledgeable, efficient and pleasant during the repair of the washer. I highly recommend him for such appliance service!
