the part ordered for the dishwasher didn't fix the problem. I paid for the technician and the part and the appliance still doesn't work. I scheduled a repair on my range and took off from work twice. Both times, the technician gave me an appointment window, updated it, and then cancelled at the end of the day. The process to set up an appointment was super easy. Leonard, the repair person was on time and was very thorough. Instead of replacing my pump on my dishwasher, he tried cleaning it first, which worked saving me at least $200.00. I would highly recommend Sears and Leonard in particular.Thank you for sharing your great rating! We thank you for choosing Sears and hope you recommend us to your friends and family.

The repairman was fine. The service protocols are terrible. If the customer has to provide the necessary part because Sears won't order it for their own product line, then the customer should not be charged twice for a service/diagnostic call. The diagnostics were done, the customer provided the part and then the customer was charged for a 2nd diagnostic call.
