As an older woman it's important for me to deal with companies i can trust.This company is upfront about prices, wait time for getting parts and times of arrival to repair or maintain of appliances.They have repaired my fridge ,water heater also yearly cleaning of dryer.I have never had a problem in dealing with staff.They explain everything,so no surprises with billing when job is finished. I didnt have work done on the 23rd. I was scheduled for the 25th and recieved a confirmation call on the 24th giving me my window for delivery. I called 30 mins after my delivery window time only to find out no one was coming that day any longer and it had been pushed to the next week. I have been without a washer since July 2. They replaced multiple parts a couple times then finally agreed to a replacement which wouldn't be delivered for another month. Trying to reach anyone when you call is terrible and you just get transfered multiple times only to be in hold for hours to be hung up on at 6 when they close. I am still waiting on my washer to be delivered and no longer have confidence it will be delivered later this week even, I could go on with more reasons for the low rating but wont.Dear ARCHER, we are sorry to hear that you did not have a positive experience with Sears. The technician who came to repair my refrigerator was very knowledgeable and courteous. I would hire him again, if I did not have to go thru the people who schedule the appointments! My fridge was under waranty but I was made to wait ten days before my repair date....not fun when it's summer!! I was originally scheduled for service in five days but my appointment was canceled after he didn't show up....so I called and was told I had to wait another five days......I spent over $100 on dry ice and regular ice!!! I had no choice but to wait for Sears to get a repairman here, since my fridge was under waranty. Makes me want to never use Sears home repair again....and never purchase a Sears appliance again!Dear Ralph, thank you for taking the time to rate your most recent service with Sears.
