Well, this makes 10 techs’ visits to repair my refrigerator. 40 minutes after this tech left, the same noise started and has continued.

Not pleased at all. We have a home warranty with Choice (Do Not Recommend). They came out first & told us the compressor was out in the fridge/freezer, but that the fridge was under warranty & the factory warranty superseded the home warranty…so I called sears…provided all the info. The make, model, warranty info, what was wrong with appliance, ect. Now after waiting a week for them to send someone out I was told that they no longer make the parts that are needed to fix the fridge. Apparently that information wasn’t available from knowing the make & model number. So now we are out of money for two service/diagnostic fees, & still have no fridge. Very disappointed with Sears.

Technician was great but I was lied to by the company prior to sending the tech out but didn't realize it until the tech was here. I would not have paid for the $119 diagnostic fee since we already knew what was wrong except I was told it would be a max charge of $325 parts and labor and that the $119 would be applied to the repair. Tech quoted over $800 to replace the part in my Frigidaire freezer. The tech said they were tired of them telling folks that. I called the company back and they said "they were sorry for my inconvenience". I expected my entire repair bill to be the $325. I will NEVER use this company again!

First off there was a note left for the 1st tech to please arrive at 2:30 - 3:00 and press the door bell due the chance of me personally not being home but surprise, surprise this tech in fact did not do anything his notes told him, lightly knocked and pulled off in less than literally 40 secs. He was on camera even looked into the door bell camera and still proceeded to pull off. Two days later after rescheduling the second tech pulled in driveway and backed out in less than 15 secs did not get out did not knock or anything, I know this because my camera caught it. Furthermore when he was flagged down by my son; the tech come back but had the audacity to say, “I assumed no one was home since the driveway was empty.” The during his “diagnosis” he found it was exactly what I left in the notes was the problem (thermomister) and proceeded to tell us the repair was flat out $320 not even shocked he was going to do that. Tech then proceeded to say he had the part on hand and was gonna do the repair the went out to his service truck to get said part and spent about 4 to 5 mins in his truck then came back and said “I don’t have the part” and it’s 5 business days out for another and then changed the price to $450 because “Sears changed it” You know I expected it to be substandard but this was absolutely rubbish and definitely not worth the $120 dollar diagnostic fee just to be told exactly what you already knew. Even more so we needed this service but hey now I know to not go here anymore.

Carolyn B, the tech assigned to the last 3 service calls on my Samsung refrigerator has changed arrival times many times through the day & at the end of day we would receive message the tech has arrived but no tech ever showed at our house. Never received a call with an arrival time on any of those days as stated we would. Have called Choice Home Warranty with complaints every time this has happened so they would have a record of the incomplete service calls. So I think your tech should not receive any kind of rating because we did not get the service that we paid for through Choice Home Warranty. Would not have given one star but you have no option to post without a star

The technician stated he had arrived, but has not been here today to make the repair….which is the 5th attempt. This is after them failing to show up for the last appointment. On a scale of 1-5 for professionalism, ability, and overall experience with Sears, it is a -5, but that wasn’t an option. Unacceptable level of service at best.

Two calls for service. First one the outsourced call center never actually scheduled anything. Second appt the status changed to ‘done’ when no one actually showed up. Phone system is broken, techs are pushing rope. Just trash.
