The repairman who came to the house was very kind and knowledgeable and was able to tell me very quickly what was wrong with my washing machine. That's why you got any stars at all. The price is highway robbery. We were quoted $500 for the repair (approximately$200 for the parts and $300 for labor). We declined because we could have bought a new one for that much, and a 10 year old machine with no warranty isn't worth that. To be honest, neither is the home appliance warranty they tried to sell me. But I guess that's what Sears is aiming for. So I paid $109 for a person to tell me what was wrong with my machine. My husband found the 2 parts (new) fairly easily for $65 and repaired it himself. It took about 10 minutes. If you are keeping track, that is $175 instead of $500+ if Sears had done the repair. Sears used ti be so good at everything. It's no wonder they are doing so poorly and are practically nonexistent now.

After speaking with the specialist for approximately two minutes by phone, he advised that he needed to place a call and would proceed to my residence. I waited an additional 30 minutes beyond the expected arrival time, but he never arrived. When I followed up, he stated that someone from CHW would contact me; however, I did not receive any further communication from him. Despite the fact that the specialist never came to my home, I was charged $100. Based on my understanding, the maximum charge should have been $85, and that amount was contingent upon a completed service call, which did not occur. As a result, I believe this charge is incorrect and not justified.

He did not do what he said he would do. Today another A/C service provider unclogged the condensation pipes. I have photos from today. Outside pipe had calcium build up that today’screpair person took care of. In the second photo, you can see there is still water in the pipes. I tried to call the Sears rep as soon as the unit shut down again (less than 1/2 hour after he left - left a message saying the A/C stopped again. The Sears repair guy never even bothered to call back. Then, to add insult to injury - Sears was not going to send someone out until May 29! Not acceptable! My home was at almost 90 degrees with high humidity.

OUTRAGEOUSLY Expensive. I could buy a new upright freezer for what they wanted to make a minor repair on a relatively new freezer. I will NEVER call them again!!! They still got me for $129 for a service visit!!

This has been the worse service experience I’ve ever had. Sears rescheduled my service calls at least 6 times and still my refrigerator is not finished. I finally got the ice maker and it’s sitting by the fridge, which took over 3 months to get here. It was to be installed today but of course they had to reschedule, now 7 times, maybe 8, I’ve honestly lost count! I think American Home Shield should find some more reliable.

Absolutely the worst service !! 5 people in home, front door open; Technician left and emailed me a form saying “No Answer at door” Do not text me!!!!! Was suppose to text or call me!!!! You can not reach a human being at Sears to talk talk to nor do they provide a cell number for the technician !!! That is no way to business. Please do not ever think about using SEARS Repair

. I had an appointment booked in advance and they gave me a 8am-5pm window. At 3pm I missed a call from the tech and one minute after (not exaggerating) I received a text saying my service was cancelled. I tried to call the number back and no answer. No explination, no call back, so unprofessional. Waited all day at the house for that. An all AI service at the "office" so there's no person to speak with about your issue, so there's probably going to be an AI generated response to this too. Save your time and go with someone else
