Ronald H,
Crown Point, INEfficient Freezer repair
Jawid was the technician that repaired the seal for the freezer portion of our refrigerator. He was efficient, he explained the repair, and left everything neat after he completed the repair.
Katherine W,
Burke, VATechnician was great. The rest of the experience was awful.
Initial visit occurred when a schedule. The technician Was pleasant, explained he was ordering a part and scheduled AMA return appointment with me. I received an email confirming the return appointment. Part was delivered within three days, well before my scheduled follow up visit. Tracking on the part delivered reflected this. But somehow Sears did not know that the part was ever delivered, and this they canceled my appointment without notifying me. I had to miss a full day of work on the day of the appointment (for a second time) because the scheduled window for all their visits is from 8 AM to 5 PM, which is ridiculous in and of itself. When I did not hear from the technician on the day of the scheduled appointment, I spent almost an hour and a half on the phone trying to reach someone to address the issue. When I finally did reach a live person on the phone, they told me that the appointment had been canceled because the folks in charge of the schedule had not been "informed" that the part was delivered. There was no ownership of any sort of error on Sears part, they acted like I was somehow supposed to know that the appointment was canceled, even though they acknowledged I had not been informed. I had to reschedule the appointment for another day. ,I was reticent to take a third day off of work for their 8 to 5 service window so I took a chance and when the technician called on the day of my rescheduled appointment, I explained my dilemma and he politely agreed to move me to the end of his service day so I was able to just leave work early as opposed to miss the entire day of work. The technician was great, the experience was awful. I will not be using Sears repair service again.
