My Whirlpool refrigerator was "on" but was not cooling. It appeared that the temperature control panel was no longer working. I was able to get an appointment the soonest with Sears - next day with online scheduling compared to 4-6 days with other service companies. The Sears tracking device allowed me to see when the technician would arrive within the 4-hour appointment window which was very useful. Barry arrived per the estimation and was courteous and professional. He confirmed that the part I needed was a control board which according to him was rare for Whirlpool refrigerators. (My fridge is just over 5 yrs old). He ordered it that day (Friday) in time for installation on Monday morning. Again, for the return visit, Barry came per the tracking app and completed the replacement efficiently. I was very happy with his service. My only comment would be on Sears pricing. The part and labor seemed high compared to other providers per an internet search for the part and the time it took to install the part.
