Scott solved the issue. The child lock was on. Would have been nice to have known about the child lock before hand. Won't ever buy another front load whirlpool washer. I was told that the $139. Would go towards the repair if it was repaired. It cost almost $200. Just to hold a button to go for 3 seconds

Nikita was great, polite, and very friendly. He is also very knowledgeable; he knows the ins and outs of a dishwasher. Not only did he fix our dishwasher, but every time we opened our dishwasher, we used to lift the counter. Nikita fixed that problem as well (that problem was an additional problem that we did not call about).

Brendan not only checked our washer per the maintenance agreement but provided us with useful information on care and possible future minor repairs. He also mentioned that if/when the time comes to replace the appliance, the features/brands to look for that will provide us with lasting use. He was very courteous and professional.
