Washer service
Mcleod arrived within the designated time. He was friendly and professional. The He front load washer we determined was ~20 years old and had stopped mid-cycle with water still in it and the door would not release. We'd tried everything from online and the manual to release the door to get the clothes out to no avail. Mcleod determined there were two failed components that would need to be ordered and cost over $800 for parts and labor. He gave us the option to go ahead or to chose not to have the repairs done... we chose NOT to have the repairs done. Mcleod left the work area the same as it was when he arrived, leaving no messes for us. We feel his was honest and forthright and would recommend him to anyone needing repairs.

Brian was thorough, respectful, explained everything well, and demonstrated pride in his work. I could sense not only his enjoyment of his work, but that he appreciated his customers and the company he works for, and this is both a rarity and also refreshing. I not only learned more about my appliance but also about your company, and why I say he is an excellent ambassador of your company, and if I had any future appliance issues I would remember Sears without question, and ask for him by name. Stephen did a great job delivering and installing the washing machine. I think he could've gone over and what each cycle does. And how to change the default temperature from warm to other temperatures.

The Sears Technician Anthony is an excellent tech. He's thorough and knows what he's doing. Anthony answers all our questions and provides solutions. Our only negative thing to say has to do with the horrible chat bot and AI that Sears is using. You can not get a hold of an actual person when you have specific questions needing to be addressed. The AI can not give you a clear answer when you need to find out why an appointment has been canceled by Sears, which is what happened to us on May 10, 2025. The AI couldn't even schedule another repair appointment for us, instead it literally sent us to a live agent who was very difficult to understand and hear. I know everyone loves AI, but AI is not ready for prime time and speaking to a live agent is far less aggravating than dealing with an AI that gets hung up over basic commands and questions.
