We have been contract holder on all 7 of our Sears appliences since 1993..Washing machine went bad April 1. whenwe returned from vacation with 4 week of laundry.Call. Mechanic arrived 2 weeks later and ordered part. Mechanic said to call when part arrived. I arrived in 3 days. Called and got another 2 week appointment. Kept getting reminders that he would arrive between 8AM and 5 PM. for each visit. We sat here all day long. Then by 4:59Pm the mechanic still never arrived. Last Sears notice was 4:46 Pm saying he was still coming. At 5:01 we called and talked to AI voice who said he was no longer working for Sears. and once again gave us a anther appointment in 2 WEEKS. Yeaterdat was May 15 and the ORIGINAL mechanic arrived and install the part in 15 minutes. As a LONG TIME Seats customer. I deserved better treatment than this . The last time my stove went bad it took 4 months and 5 wrong parts that didn't fit before they finally replaced the stove. This was us missing Canadian Thanks giving, US Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years my Birthday, My wives birthday without a stove. I read my contract and I am entitled to a settlement fot the long service. This washing machine wait cost us in over $35 in laundramat cost plus gas and wear and tear on our car. Plus 3 days of sitting on our hand near a phone waiting for a no show.The only safe one is 30 miles away. Just because we are PAID contract holder and don't have to pay the rediculas fees that a "call in " client will have to pay, should we get poorer service. A neighbor (not a contract holder) got his stove fixed in 4days., We think Sears has gone to POT. since the stores closed. Kenneth Buck

Jim who came this evening to fix my washer was very kind and fixed unconnected hose that prev tech didnot connect & flooded my laundry room. The customer service system with AI is useless sends appts for whole day and then cancelled after hours. No local number to speak to real person. I hope I don't need to use this service again. Over 2 weeks without washing machine plus a flooded laundry room due to tech not connecting a hose. It would be nice if someone had called re the flooded laundry room,garage. I am 100% disabled and poor vision so not having option to speak to someone doesn't make you a user friendly company. I hope I don't need your service again.Just glad Jim was able to fix it after 2 weeks without a washing machine.
