We've bought Sears appliances & warranties a long time. We waited a month with each week a date then cancelled half way through the day of the appointment just for someone to come look at the washer just to see what's wrong.

James was very professional, and he performed the necessary work on our washer swiftly and apparently successfully. It is so far working wonderfully. James appeared most proficient at his job which gives me hope. 🙏

Love this technician and his knowledge based is extensive which makes him extremely helpful to clients such as myself. Got the repairs done very quickly. Regarding SEARS the customer service/support is the worst. Initial evaluation of washer was July 8th and same day return appt to complete repairs was scheduled for July 23rd. Morning of July 23rd I received text message confirming that days appointment between 8AM-5PM; Throughout the day using provided link I checked technician status to get updates on the arrival time, but nothing showed. I received text from A.I. Richard at 2:50PM stating my appointment had been cancelled and needed to be rescheduled with the first available date showing 8/1! As you can imagine I was P*****, especially after my washer was down and I had already waited two weeks for parts/repair. I starting searching for a customer support phone number but kept getting "AI" replies. Finally got a live person (non American agent) who was unhelpful. After explaining the situation she tries to find the phone number tied to my account and was not able to. Realized Sears did not update the phone number (an old one we haven't had for 2+years) which I requested be updated during previous service order scheduling. She then tells me she found the account and because I am a master protection holder she could not help me, placed me on hold to "transfer". I waited for another ~10 minutes and was disconnected. At that point I had spent over an hour trying to get in touch with an actual sears representative. I then get another text message from sears stating my appointment had been rescheduled for 7/24/25. I was relieved to get rescheduled for the next day, but the whole process was frustrating. The service should be top notch, customers should be able to reach actual live persons for support, and most importantly customers should receive phone calls advising of appt delays. I do not recommend Sears service.
