He repaired a flat tire on his company van at his cost just to make sure he didn't disappoint me. I REALLY needed my washer as I do my husband's laundry that resides in a facility. It was piling up. He was efficient and focused.

The technician is great, the service support isn't

The technician has done well, and has informed us each and every time he's arrived. The customer service support however, is more harassment than support. The AI that has been chosen to respond constantly sends emails, texts, calls and voicemails, even whenever the technician hasn't arrived or days before. Whenever I'm trying to actually find out when the technician is arriving, I can't talk to a real human or live agent because all that is available is the AI. I've tried to talk to a real, human representative, with no luck. At this point, with it being over two weeks without a washing machine and my washer unit still not fixed and no one to respond to except a pale imitation of human intellect, I've washed my hands of Sears Home Services and will never use them again, and I will encourage others not to use them either. Replace your AI, it isnt needed when you could pay an actual human being instead of being cheap.

It took 3 in-person visits and one Zoom call to perform a simple fix. During that time, beginning on Apr 24, I had my appointment cancelled and rescheduled, by Sears 4 times. It was impossible to contact a human. The AI assistant was frequently wrong and misinformed me. Sears spent more time trying to sell me other things, like warranties and Mother's Day gifts than it did trying to fix my problem. I will never buy anything at all from Sears ever again. As you can tell, I am very angry. The techs are excellent. The rest of the "service" isn't worth the many hours of hassle I had to endure.
