I wish that this review was more about the service behind the technicians. From day one the repair of our Kenmore washer was not about the quality of the techs work but the machine behind the service call. I have never ever been so upset with a service call from American Home Shield. (Sears) I was told I would be in contact with a technician by phone or text (never happened) All I got was a stupid AI response with limited questions that were NO HELP! Brian our 1st technician came I'll prepared because the AI did not issue any information (that the AI robot text me with questions to help diagnose) If your going to use technology use it properly. So 1st tech troubleshot the 8 t was ill prepared without the model number of our machine which I supplied! Brian said he would have to place a part order. The part arrived. The Sears service dept. did not acknowledge that the part arrived. The Mon September 8th appt. was ignored and postponed by someone without any consideration to notify me (who had been waiting another day (8:00am to 5:00pm) I was beyond upset. I managed to get a hold of someone named "Grady" who sympathized with my anger and disappointment. Grady assured me that what had happened to me was not even close to being considerate of my time. The reschedule appt was postponed till Sept. 15th. I told Grady that that w as unacceptable, and he agreed. I was to be kept informed of my repair path. I found out from AHS that Sears tech was supposed to be here this morning between 9:30 am to 10:30 am. Ignacio showed up at 3:45 pm. We started this process o. Aug 30th. and ended on Wednesday Sept 10th. The fault is not against the real employees (repair people) But those that hide behind the wall of AI and people who do not care or are concerned for the basic politeness of dealing. PLEASE GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER! I will give your techs raving reviews but I will not give your customer service a half a zero in rating. Communication could have solved all of the issues.

We were his last customer at the end of day. He came so pleasant with a positive attitude! In the past other technicians were very moody and unpleasant. It was a delightful to have James fix our dryer. He is a keeper.
