On the 12th of December service came out to check out my dryer. The technician stated he had to order a part and he would be back Monday the 15th. What I don't understand is why he had to come back. When after setting up the appointment I was asked several questions, assuming by your AI, that wanted to know what was wrong so that the technician could arrive to the appointment with the necessary parts so that a second appointment would not need to be made. I explained that the dryer was not heating up and it was not drawing the clothes. So automatically that assumes the heating elements is not working. Yet the technician did not come with a heating element and that is what had to be ordered. So I received a message stating that the follow-up appointment would be on Monday the 15th yet because the part had not yet arrived I was asked to reschedule the appointment, in a text message. When I cleaned on the link in the text message there were no options for a date change of the appointment. When I called, Monday morning the 15th, after several tries- which is extremely annoying to constantly have to try to talk to AI- I spoke with an individual who stated that when the part was received that an appointment would automatically be made for that day for the technician to come out. I was told to call back upon receipt of the part. Which I don't know why the part had been detoured to send me instead of to the technician at the office. When I called back after receipt of the the part I was told that my appointment would have to be for 3 Days Later Friday the 19th instead of the very next day. Please do not get me wrong, Rodger was an extreme professional, very nice helpful even. But trying to reach an individual at the contact center is outrageous! You are relying too much on AI to make appointments and help solve problems. Because when I called to try to make the appointment it said I already had an open service call and would not let me make the follow-up appointment.
