This issue was first reported to American Home Shield on 7/3/25. They finally got Sears involved and that took 3 more months. The AI chat system is woefully inadequate. You need some live operators. Chat bots can not answer follow-up questions. A live person could entertain 3 or more related in a logical sequence. The chat bot simply knows how to take you back to the beginning of the entire process with your inquiries remaining unanswered. The frustration mounts and what really be taken care of in a week or two at most ends up taking 6 months. That is totally unacceptable. I was so perturbed by this entire fiasco that I ended up cancelling my service. My wife and I had already started researching new washers to replace this broken (malfunctioning) one. After this experience, I would not recommend American Home Shield to anyone.
