Nathan Burd, wonderful chap, saved us from having to buy a new washing machine today, and after 20 years of great service from my Kenmore elite HE front loader washer, it still works thanks to him! It's just that it took two days of delays, rescheduling and A/I texts and from several different numbers. It's confusing, it's frustrating, it's arduous , you can't go anywhere or do anything, it's a hostage scenario. "the technicians been delayed; the technician won't make it; would you like to reschedule? TWO DAYS of this. But I'm so glad now that we waited, because, well Nathan Burd. HOWEVER….. He asked me if I wanted to buy a Sears home warranty. We've had many Sears home warranties and other individual machine warranties from Sears throughout the years. My mother had them, my grandmother had them. I love Sears. And If I could sign him up for whatever problem we had, I absolutely would have. But he drove 200 miles to get to me. He was the only one available! They don't have anybody anymore! So why am I buying a warranty to deal with this kind of service? Now, mind you, this has nothing to do with Nathan Byrd. That young man is a genius. No doubt, he should be given a raise and fully commended for service above and beyond the call of duty. He had started at 7 o'clock this morning and still had to drive 200 miles home. There are no more Nathan Burds. He's the only one. Even If they would've said it's going to take two days for him to get there to begin with, I'd have said yes! But that's not what happens. We will not be doing business with them anymore, however. And that is a shame. We are and have been huge Sears customers, for over 30 years between my wife and I and 30 years before that with my family and I growing up. But thank you, Nathan, for being the hero of our house.

I was in need of someone to check my washing machine. It was not working well. The gentleman who came to check it out was on time and kept me informed as to when he would be arriving. When he got here, he listened to what I told him as to how the machine was performing. He check it out and gave me a full explanation of what was wrong and how much it would cost to repair. He was very helpful giving me suggestions as to what models of new machines to consider as it would not have been reasonable to repair it. I was very happy with his service.

I had a very good experience with Todd and the Sears service. I was able to schedule a timely appointment and Todd arrived right on time. It was an easy diagnosis..a broken belt as I suspected. He ordered the belt on Wednesday and came on Friday to install it. My only complaint was the price…seemed quite a bit for a belt…but thankfully I have a home warranty that covered it….would've used them if I didn't have the warranty.
