Terrible experience

I'm normally not one to write a bad review, but this technician was extraordinarily rude. He flatly ignored questions my wife and I asked him while he was examining our AC, pretending as if we were not there. He acknowledged there is a leak in our machine but did nothing to address the leak, instead refilling it with coolant that will only seep out in a few weeks. (We had the AC refilled in June only to stop working in August.) At the end of the visit, he asked me to sign his iPhone. When I asked what I was signing, he took the phone back and appeared to forge my signature on the screen. I did not sign whatever he was asking me to sign.

He told Choice Homes that it was a pre-existing condition. Well of course the A/C wasn't working when he got there or else why would I have filed a claim to have him go out there to fix it? If that were the case EVERY service call would be a pre-existing condition. Now I'll have to file an appeal and go without AC even longer in the middle of summer. I'm very upset at the way you do business. It stinks! You just lost the repair job!

Performed basics checks only then said his checks did not identify an issue so there is nothing wrong (even though the A/C was still not cooling) and we should live with it as is. He also mentioned we should have had the A/C turned on for the whole 8 days we were waiting for the appointment so that he could see for himself that it wasn't cooling. I asked if there were any other checks he could do. He said no and walked out of the house back to the truck. He also falsified a signature on some documentation that he was supposed to get me to sign but did not because he was so concerned about about leaving as quickly as he could. Useless.

Under the conditions of the plan that I purchased, electrical work is covered under my plan. The technician stated he could not repair my A/C system. When electrical work is covered. My condenser was not working as well.

Well too much to complain... In short the technician that came was not at all customer friendly.. He did explain the issue.. but I told him I need to talk to the home insurance company first cause I had filed a maintenance service call not to repair it .. Which I see there was a confusion about. So the job was not done .

Sears is the worst!

I waiting 3 weeks for this appointment! The worst experience ever! Wasted my time. Schedule me for 8:00am to 5:00pm! That's my whole day. He comes at 12:00. He didn't understand or had the knowledge to fix my air condition. My neighbor just had his fixed and caught this company in a lie about fixing my unit. So I am still with out air conditioning in my house. Thanks Sears.

The First Time He came to our Home we asked him did he want to come inside, because our Thermostat was Not Working he said NO!?!? Then my Husband told him to listen to the noise when Unit kicks on, BUT he was out by his Vehicle Smoking and on the Phone when it kicked on! He mentioned that He Does (Side Work) because the Insurance will Not Replace the Unit if Needed! I called Cinch and Requested NOT to have the Same Guy come to our Home. Made Us Feel Very Uncomfortable! BUT He was sent home to Our Home Again! He was shown Pics of the Unit Frozen up. He ordered Parts and Returned Friday to install but by Friday Evening we texted him pics of the Thermostat at 80 and the Frozen up Unit Again Not Working Properly! We Told him Cinch told us to contact Him Directly or the Sears Company to Try and get a Sooner Appointment (My call log shows that I called Sears Repeatedly with No Contact Possible with a Human) My text log shows Messages&Pictures sent to him showing that He READ Them yet NO Response!! The Soonest Available Appointment is 8/12!! That IS Ridiculous to Wait that Long on a 3rd Time coming to our Home!! I Personally do Not like to Complain, I Always like to Compliment! Regardless if we go to a Restaurant, I like to get the Manager to Compliment Their Workers because Everyone wants to Complain BUT People Need Recognition When Doing a Good Job! Although If People do Not Complain when there IS a Legit Reason/ Problem With Their Employees then Nothing Can be Addressed & Resolved! So here we are Addressing a Situation We Wish We Didn't Have to be In! Mr & Mrs Cavanaugh

Lacked any customer service skills and left my unit broken because he was too lazy to fix it. He made it clear even before he saw my unit that he was giving me the bare minimum effort.
