Poor Professional
Each time I have interacted with him he is condescending, rude, and lazy. He rarely comes Into my house to check the A/C and one time he tried to leave before even checking the upstairs. He was extremely rude to my wife and gave her sarcastic remarks to her questions and when I would ask questions about my A/C unit not properly working he would say, "I don't know". I requested he not come back but unfortunately he did. Do not expect much if he is your servicer due to his limited knowledge and poor attitude.

Heat and conditioner unit
They didn't fix the unit and I'm waiting today and nobody showed up so I can't give you no good review. I was very inconvenient, unit is still not working someone needs to come and fix it. It don't do me no good to be Paying for a warranty service when my unit is still not fix.

Disappointed, they inspected the Wrong system
Technician was Supposed to service the attic Carrier heat pump. Even gave them the model and serial number. He didn't. It was easier for him to inspect the basement furnace (Trane) and tell us to pay for another service call if we wanted the attic furnace inspected. We wanted the Carrier system in the attic inspected. The Renter at the house just didn't want to argue with the technician so the wrong system was looked at. It was a waste of my time and money since we had already had the basement system inspected by another company. We should be able to get Sears to do what we schedule them to do and inspect the Carrier heat pump in the attic.

I had been without heat for 7 days waiting on Sears Home Svcs to send somebody. This morning at 8:15 Mr. Brian C. came and found 24v wiring shorting out at condenser. He cut back wire and reattached them to condenser low voltage. It worked for about 5-10 min after he left and then didn't work any more. I waited an hour or two and called back and was told he would be back at 5:00 pm today. Nobody showed up, called or sent a message. Before today, I called 2 or 3 times and filled out forms on the internet to no avail. Messages popped up saying "Oops, something happened, start over." I never got to speak with anybody that I could hardly understand. Your new system just doesn't work. As for Mr. Brian C., he was extremely nice and polite and did what he thought would help. He seemed like a nice person. So, as of 11:40 pm on 12/20/23, I'm still without heat. Could you please help? I have a flawless record as to my monthly payments and have only used you one time which was 2 yrs ago. Please help.

HVAC Disaster
I'd give you a negative rating if there was one. From the start until the unfinished work this was by far the worst service I've ever had. Five times your tech rescheduled and in below freezing temps. I told your last tech who said they couldn't do the work and had to reschedule to not come back but they showed up anyway. I reported that I canceled your services to First American Home Warranty but your services are so worthless that you still showed up.

Sears Home Service YOU are in the wrong here!!
This review is not for technician Paul B. It is for Sears Home Service and a different Sears Home Service technician that preformed the work. The technician arrived at my home to repair my air conditioner that was not cooling. The technician replaced the capacitor and within three hours of the technician leaving, inside the unit caught fire and burned up the wires and the capacitor. Within inches of where the technician was working. Sears Home Service refuses to fix my air conditioner. They claim it must have been a surge that caused the fire and they are not responsible. I am now left with costly repairs far beyond the air conditioner just not cooling. Sears Home Service needs to take responsibility and make this right! This is unacceptable!

Bad customer service
No one show up for my appointment today. No one call. I tried calling the number provided and just busy and got cut off. I reschedule and now it is another 10 days out. Not acceptable! I am not happy with Choice. More of a bad choice!
