Will not do business with Sears because of this experience
The technician was very defensive and from the first minute it was clear he did not intend to repair anything. He cancelled the first appointment at the last minute and rescheduled 10 days later. He made completely false claims and tried to blame everything on Choice Home warranty.

Condo air conditioning repair or lack of!
Never called and reported what he found or explained what he looked at. Definitely wasn't thorough. The degree gap from setting is still 10-12 degree difference. The AC unit is running all the time but not cooling. I can't get hold of anyone to get them back out there. Contact communication chat and call back message has had no response in 24 hours. Disappointed😡

Not a Fan...
On 6-4 your Company came out as acquired through our Choice Warranty company and replaced a capacitor in our broken Central Air Unit and assured me that this was the reason our unit wasn't cooling. However the AC only worked for maybe a week and went down again. Our Warranty company attempted to have Sears come out again and to no avail l, they were not available for a repeat service call! Shocker.. We ultimately hired our own contractor and replaced our entire HVAC system. Not a fan of Sears and will never refer your company to anyone else.

Warranty coverage review
After having my furnace looked at a second time I found out that there was no insulation stuck in the floor fan. Also, the technician left my furnace, totally torn apart. He didn't bother to put it back together.

Abimael Santiago Is someone who you rather not meet.
Technician Review – Abimael Santiago Tampa Florida (1 Star). Zero if I could If I could give zero stars, I would. Abimael showed up today and from the moment he arrived, it was clear he did not want to be here. He was vaping in my driveway and in my house, sat in his truck for nearly two hours, and only came to the door to make excuses. He falsely claimed a critical part was sabotaged by me and did not hide his contempt for me. I had never had such an uncomfortable interaction. He then said he could not prove that the coil was tampered with and his manager told him to replace it. And he did. It want to do it. But he was not the boss. He then stated that the part (coil) was not available—even though I personally confirmed with the parts house that it was in stock and ready for pickup just 4 miles away. When asked basic questions, he was defensive, dismissive, and acted like he was being forced to complete the visit. He claimed he was sent because he's the "most qualified technician," but his attitude, lack of professionalism, and unwillingness to get the job done proved the opposite. I've been without A/C since May 10th, and after 9 reschedules, this was the final insult. I expect trained, uniformed, respectful professionals—not someone who treats customers like an inconvenience.

Terrible
These guys dont want to work or repair- simply upsell some additional un needed inflated service OR sell u a new system- and u cant reach anyone for help 100% AI- I will be blasting this to my 180k Twitter/ X followers- DO NOT USE SEARS

Zero if I could
Choice Home Warranty selected this company to come to my residential home to diagnose why my A/C unit was not cooling. I paid my deductible, but the diagnostic report was never sent to me, despite multiple requests. When I called, I was told 72 hours, or get it from Choice Home Warranty, and then was told I have to get from Sears Home Services. The inspection occurred on April 30, 2025. As of today's date, May 22, 2025, I still do not have a copy of the diagnostic report. I received the passing game from both parties involved. If you have Choice Home Warranty, try to pick your own professional and not use theirs. I would not recommend either company after my current experience. If you choose to use them, make sure to get your diagnostic report before your assigned technician leaves your home………

No Service Performed
Tech hasn't provided the A/C freon and leak service scheduled on 3/5/25 and 3/6/25 since he called to inform me that it's not covered by my protection plan!! I have waited 2 days for no service and spent too much time talking to specialist in your warranty and repairs department to confirm coverage!
