Richard did not check my heater through. He was informed that pilot light would go out. What is causing this problem? No heater can heater csn hear up ii pilot light malfunction. Did he check out the heater or does he know how are heater function?

Flippant and Rude

Rude when asked direct questions. Asked him when they will have someone else come out since he couldn't help. "I don't know, I'm not the scheduler."Kept repeating he didn't have the part. He asked me to sign something and I asked what it was. He said "You don't have to sign it, don't matter to me cause it's gonna go to them anyway!" Just ignorant and rude. Please do not send him back to my home again.

Rude technician; part of warranty call. First time technician came to service my air conditioning unit, he informed my wife that it was an electrical issue and placed in warranty notes it was a non-functioning thermostat. Repeated warranty call as entire air conditioning unit is covered, and same individual came to house and said to my wife "Did you call another technician because I am not fixing this?" Had to call escalation department from warranty company to re-assign to another service company since Sears came out twice and did not even diagnose the issue!

Tech stated no leak in my system but then proceeded to add 8 lbs of Freon????? If no leak why is it empty??? Complete scam half assed the job because being empty means large leak and now it's just going to leak out again so no fix!!!!

Bogus, ripoff, do NOT ever use Choice Home Warranty

My blower and fan on a Trane Central AC is gone. After waiting a week in 95° weather, they changed my appointment from 7/26 to 7/29/25. A technician NEVER showed up, but they claimed someone came out and no one was home though someone was home all day. Next, a reschedule was done for 7/31)25. After the technician evaluated the issue, he texted the company to let them know of the fan needing replacing. They instructed him to send a picture. Before he could even take the picture, they texted him a denial to the claim for us. This company First Choice Warranty should be investigated for gross fraud and embezzlement in business. My daughter ironically had American Home Warranty and with a plumbing blockage was handled within 48 hours, last Saturday, with only the service charge paid. A plumbing company with a 4.8 rating was sent out by AHW, and I wish I had them rather than thieving CHW. I will be filing an appeal and posting reviews every where I can. Now I realize why CHW on most review sites have a 1.0 star. Had I been able to rate them correctly, it would be zero! Sears should be ashamed to be an affiliate or owner of CHW. I could just imagine how low they pay workers, exploit them, give no benefits and abuse their technicians and workers, as they have done with my family as a customer. I hope this company doesn't profit any more off this taking one's money ill-intendedly! If you were similarly treated, please post your review to warn others about CHW.

Waited over a week for a tech for AC in one of the hottest weeks ever. Did not repair nor replace which my contract states will be done. Very dishonest. Lousy company.

Almost non verbal except for immediately asking for the payment. No introduction of himself. Not friendly at all. Very evasive, not forthcoming with any diagnosis or information concerning the furnace. I don't like his style of customer service at all. Wouldn't want him to return for any reason going forward. His behavior to me was borderline rude and unprofessional.

Inconsiderate and Incompetent

Service window was 7AM to 6PM. Tech never call with estimated arrival time. He arrived at 7:35PM. Tired, hot, and agitated. Complained about his work load. Told me his could not inspect my unit because there was no decking around it. He said that was a Sears policy. Said he took photos to show Sears and said I would have to get another company to service the unit. When I called Sears, I was told that was not their policy. He submitted a report to my way company and they denied coverage because of what he said the issue was. Not sure how he knew a problem when he didn't inspect. I have another tech at my house right now who has found the issue and is in the process of making repair.

Bad customer experience(company not Zack)

As a disabled vet, with a 83 yr old mother living with me. I had to wait 8 days for them to fix my HVAC for 7/9-7/17. An appointment that was for 7/17 didn't get cancelled until 10pm. Then the next day instead being 1st on the list the tech didn't arrive to 5pm. He did the job BUT my experience was THE WORST & very frustrating!!!!! If I could give you a -5 I would

Your tech failed to show up at all, replacement part ordered wouldn't fix the issue since it was the wrong value cap and what's really needed is a 2 speed chiller replacement fan. Unbelievable that you have the nerve to not show up after I've waited for you all day, then bill for nonexistent services and a part that was never installed!
