AC repair failed after one week
This is the third time the AC has gone out this summer. The HVAC is on its last leg and it is 105+ degrees. I need a permanent fix.

Garage A/C
The tech was very courteous and knowledgeable. The unit worked that day, but today(one day after the repair) the unit worked great for the first two hours, but now the temp is 86 degrees and rising. I turned the unit off and waited 10 minutes and restarted the unit. The temp is holding at 84 degrees. I have reviewed all docs provided by Sears Home Services. The only contact number listed is for A&E services, I have no idea who they are. Who is going to fix my unit?

Poor workmanship
Didn't do his job. Told us it was an electrical issue when it was just a dehumidifier pump not working. Paid for an electrician to come out almost a week later to fix the issue that should have been fixed that day.

Worst service technician ever
Please don't send this technician (Tariq)to my house ever again. Tariq's first to my home, I had told him the technician who came to do my maintenance service said something was wrong with that lower valve and there was no Freon in my system and I he told me to call and pay for a repair service. Tariq went to the basement and I observed him validating the model and serial number and then we moved outside. He removed a panel and unplugged the unit. Then he informed me that the unit needed to be cleaned with a cleaning solution and there was Freon in the system. I told him I used the hose but not this year. He said that wasn't good enough and the warranty wouldn't cover the cleaning. He mentioned my unit was old and it needs to be replaced for $15,000. Tariq put in Freon, and said it wouldn't last. Three days later May 17, 2026, I turned on the air and it blew out air and the house never cooled. Tariq's second, May 22,2026 he refused to go back and look at anything. His stance, and the way he spoke to me made me uncomfortable in my own home. Tariq was once adamant about me purchasing a new unit . He asked me was I ready to purchase a new unit. I believe he was trying to pressure me to purchase a new system. I wonder would he have spoken me in a demeaning manner if a man was present. Then he told me to go get a second opinion and walked out my house. This was very unprofessional. The same day (May 22) The next technician from a different company not from Sears came out and found the lower valve was broken within the first two minutes.

Service Not Completed
Service Order Number: 13706914 The technician came on 5/11, checked the AC, and told me that he was going to call Sears and let me update them about the next step. He said he is outside in a vehicle and will come back/call, and explain what to do next. I checked after some time, his vehicle was not there, and I got an email that Sears rescheduled service for 5/12. Got an email on 5/12 around 11:17 AM that Technician on the way. No one turned up. AT 1:15 PM received an email with an invoice/receipt from Sears and a thank you email for choosing Sears. What is this? My service was not completed, but they closed the order and charged USD 100. Is this a scam or what? HVAC Fan Capacitor Replacement
Service technician was unaware of the scope of repair. Customer had to share details of preventative maintenance results and identify the faulty part that required repair. How does this lack of communication with the Sears Cinch Home Warranty Organization result in the proper service delivery to the customer. What am I paying a monthly fee for if the organization doesn't keep records of preventative maintenance calls and has no way to communicate needed repairs. I had to act as the go between. This entire service model is faulty and unreliable,
