They fixed it
Not real friendly felt like he was condescending about it . His helper/apprentice was decent .I had to throw away the filter he took out and the part from the a/c though he did sweep the Insulation that dropped from attic up. My a/c did get fixed and it's working now and that's all that really matters though being a bit less condescending toward people would definitely help

There was no communication with the distribution company regarding the terms of the contract. His visit to my home was not within the guidelines of the contract. He did not show up to my home as scheduled.
Loyde B,
Friendswood, TXTrane HVAC Control Pad
It's been a month and my HVAC Control Pad has not been repaired / replaced. First the incorrect parts were ordered then the new Trane supposedly correct (Pad )did not work I was told that a 5th ground wire needed to be installed for the Pad to work the old Control Pad apparently had the ground wire integrated and the upgraded version did not. I want to know why this was not determined prior to part being ordered during diagnostic. On the positive side I have air but can't control the temperature buttons are worn.

As a tech he seems to know his business but he really made no attempt to repair the unit. He found a nursed red wire on the compositor and said he had a wire but disconnected the outside unit so the next tech who comes out will see that problem. He told us to call in for another service call when the out side unit has fully defrosted in a few weeks or a month or so. The lack of proper repairs on a first call to Sears is a habit of poor performance and improperly or inadequately stocked service trucks. What used to be a good repair service had deteriorated to very poor service.

Furnace is finally working. However, Victor Claims that he replaced the inducer motor and control board on my furnace. But the only thing that was really replaced was the control board. The old inducer motor is still on my furnace. But at least my heat is working.

I was given a 8 hr window for my repair. I was told it would be narrowed down on day of repair. It was not. I took an entire day off work to have the technician come after 6:30. I also shared the evaluation before he arrived, of what the previous 2 technicians had reported. I was expecting a repair. All I received was another evaluation. I was also informed that I would be contacted before he arrived to discuss the issue. I was not. I called the 800 number only to be told by a recording that I was on schedule from 8-5. No communication at all. This would have saved everyone a lot of time and effort if someone had just picked up the phone. Now it's week 4 and I still have no AC.

I never got notified when he was on his way. Every time I checked email it kept giving me new estimated arrival, which got later and later (he did come int the time allotted. He was in my house such a short amount of time that he didn't shut his truck engine off THIS WAS SUPISSED TO BE A MAINTENANCE CALL NOT A CALL TO SEE IF MY HEATER WAS WORKING. WASTE OF TIME There was nothing wrong with technician himself
