Richard listened carefully as i described the problem before diving into the AC repair. He showed me the problem of the melted wire on the outside unit and replaced it. He answered all of mine and my wife's questions about possible causes of the problem and explained in detail about the workings of our ageing unit. He also explained some of the preventive maintenance features possibly covered by our warranty contract. It is unfortunate that Sears has such a long (10 days) delay in having someone available to repair the AC unit. Richard did a great job.
